Didn't Australia used to have a non-alcoholic whiskey called Clayton's?

They're ads went something along the lines of: "It's the drink you have when you're not drinking..."

I thought the prohibited behavior was consuming fermented grains. Whisky, by it's nature, is a fermented grain product. Sure, this stuff is definitely not whisky and has no alcohol. It just seems strange that you'd consume a knock off imitation of something explicitly banned by your religion.

Why would you not drink Whisky/Whiskey for the taste? If you just want to end up three sheets to the wind, there are far cheaper alternatives.

And if you're not drinking Whisky for the taste, why would it being in a can bother you?

I'll order a half-caf double espresso. Usually after I've already had a few at full strength.

Neat. I'd try it. I could drink whiskey flavored stuff at work. Which is cool.

I also have whisky flavored tea, but haven't tried it yet.

Honestly, I like the idea of this.

There's a lot of folks out there that because of medical conditions or medication side effects that cannot drink alcohol. I'm one of them. You have no idea how irritating it gets to be the automatic designated driver because you can't drink. I miss being able to sit down with my guy on a cold evening and have an Irish coffee with him. Egg nog without whiskey is horrid.

Before medication, I would drink whiskey for the taste. A couple of fingers of good sipping whiskey, neat, was all I needed for a relaxing evening. I could nurse a double whiskey all evening.

This product is a godsend. Not to mention how good it would be for cooking.

Wait, people drink whiskey and DON'T like the taste? That's kind of retarded, if you don't like your booze go back to vodka, any decent vodka is tasteless and just burns on the way down. Even cheap vodka is palatable.

I'm down though, I drink booze because... well, I love the taste of dark liquors. And the burn. And the whole ritual around it. It'd be nice for thirty shots in a night to NOT end up with me missing my pants two towns over with a headache and a rapidly ejecting stomach though. Looks like it's canned though, so I imagine it's not what I'm after. A nice burn and the whiskey taste without ending up drunk would be nice though, albeit I don't know anyone else who'd buy that.

/the only whiskey drinker in his group of friends
//Hell, more for me.
///get your dirty hands off my Wild Turkey, that's mine.
////No really, don't touch that, there's a reason it's half empty and touching it will make me want to show you why.
