Sad. Another city that should have been able to pull itself out of the sewer, undone by bad accounting practices. Kind of like Bell, just down the road.

I'm beginning to see a pattern here, something about spending more money than you're taking in for too long, and not having any rules about taking funding from other sources. Hm, how strange that is.

Yep, used to work out of Compton, Alameda south of the 105. Quiet in the daytime, sometimes a little unsettling after sundown. Never could get used to all the dead dogs on the streets though.
