Cute. Reminds me of the hapless rodent from the Ice Age movies.

technically speaking it is neither a squirrel nor saber-toothed

The illustration appears to have four incisors, making it not a rodent by modern classification. Or it has canine teeth, making it not a rodent either. I would have called it a proto-raccoon.

Oh, man... I love that squirrel. He was my favorite part of "Ice Age". The whole movie should have been about him.

Dude, the whole movie *was* about him. The parts that weren't, were just like every other commercials interuption... too long, uninteresting, can't understand what it is they're selling but I know I ain't buying it.

Ok, that's a good way of looking at it. My perception is permanently changed for the better.

From TFA: Coronpio dentiacutus lived at the same time as small carnivorous dinosaurs, terrestrial crocodiles and snakes with legs.

Snakes with legs?!? That would be a lizard, wouldn't it?

Snakes with legs...

Also, terrestrial crocodiles? As opposed to extraterrestrial crocodiles?

Not sure what these guys are smoking, but, where can I get some?
