Man, TS3 was a good movie.

I love that scene in Ratatouille when Ego eats tries the food. That and his subsequent review are brilliant.

I would have gone for the scene where Woody discovers his past for Toy Story 2.

The last scene in Toy Story 3 can kiss the entirety of my ass.

The opening of Up depressed me like to animated movie ever has.

Toy Story movies are awesome.

Was expecting the end of Wall-E where EVE fixes him.

I saw Up about 2 months after my mom passed away, I cried in the theatre during the ending of this scene. I have not watched the movie since.

Toy Story 3 really got to me.
I took my kids to see 1 and 2 in the theater. 3 just happened to come out the summer that my eldest graduated for high school, and was going away to college.
Not ashamed to say that I bawled like a baby.

Up always makes me cry, those bastards. What always doubly gets me is that's the movie that Pixar took a copy of before its release to a dying little girl's house so could see it as she wouldn't live until its release, so some of those tears are for her parents who were surely watching it with her at the time.

And Jessie's song is amazing.

Call me soulless if you like, but I can't deal with tearjerker movies like most of those on the list. I remember as a kid being absolutely shredded emotionally by "Snoopy Come Home" watching it in a theater, and ever since then, I make it a point to avoid movies like that. I've never seen "Up" at all, and I've never watched "TS2" or "TS3" in their entirety for that very reason.

I'll take "The Incredibles", "Cars" or "Monsters Inc." but the rest you can keep.

2011-11-02 07:06:35 PM
God damn you, Steve Jobs. Not only did you have to create the Apple II, the Macintosh, the iPod, the iPhone, and the iPad, you had to go and create the greatest animation studio of all time.

Jessie's song was the first time I actually cried during a movie. I had previously teared up, but goddamnit if this one didn't get me over the edge.

Terrible list. Only because you can't pick a top moment from The Incredibles. The entire movie is made of Top everything.

Please do not make a Toy Story 4. Tom Hanks hinted at it but please please please do not make a Toy Story 4. There is no where else to go.

Please do not make a Cars 3. It is your weakest story. Other may say it's for younger kids who just like the toys but little kids love the rest of your movies too.

Stick to creating new stories and try to avoid sequels unless you have a plan for them. I'm a bit cautious about Monster's University but I am looking forward to Brave.

/Ok, an Incredibles 2 movie might be doable...but that's it and only if Brad Bird writes and directs.

I was just leaving New Hampshire and moving to LA when I stopped in Missouri to watch Toy Story 3 in theaters. Now I hadn't lived at my parents house for years but that scene when his mom gives Andy the hug all the way to the end had me crying like a biatch.

My sister lasted three months in college before she asked our mom to bring her stuffed baby chick to her dorm. Don't assume that thing is going to stay at your house.

The end of TS3? Guh. I was trying to inconspicuously wipe away tears after watching it on a flight. Awkward.

If I'd been in theatres I definitely would've - was watching the movie with my brothers and a bunch of cousins during Christmas eve a couple years back, we were all different levels of drunk and chit-chatting; that scene starts and the room goes dead quiet, completely sedated. When it was over I was still in shock and one of my cousins was sobbing into her newly refilled wine glass.

True, true. However, it still amazes me that one guy was instrumental in so much awesomeness. I suspect he had a Ring Of Power.

Jessie's song does tug, but nothing prepares you for the toy hand over.

Truly a better ending could not have been written for the series.

The first time I saw Toy Story 2 was when I was babysitting my neighbor's kids. I was a sopping mess unlike anything else after the "When She Loved Me" scene.

My favorite scene of these is probably Ego eating the ratatouille and having that flashback. That was powerful. Though "Married Life" is a close second.

2011-11-02 07:48:43 PM
Pixar movies touch my heart like almost no other movies can. And this is coming from someone who thoroughly enjoyed The Stealth Hippopotamus' comment entirely too much.

"100 Mile Dash" is one of my favorite movie scenes ever. Step back and think for a moment. How many of those mooks died as their flying craft crashed and smashed together? Helen outright says "these people will kill you if they get the chance".

"Define Dancing" is one of the most beautiful sequences I've ever seen in a movie. 'Nuff said.

Coincidentally, my cat's nickname is Boo (has nothing to do with this movie). She died 3 months ago, almost exactly. Now I'm going to go cheer myself up by watching Schindler's List.

5. Ratatouille - Anton Ego eats the title dish

I saw Ratatouille during a matinee show at the Texas here in Las Vegas. As luck would have it, the theater was empty except for me and about thirty chefs and staff from some of the most prestigious restaurants here in Las Vegas.

After Anton Ego eats the title dish and has his epiphany, one of the chefs said aloud, "People, this is what we work for!"

Jim from Saint Paul: The opening of Finding Nemo. How many times have you gone to a kids movie and felt THAT sad after about 4 minutes?

My mom can't watch Bambi. Her mom died when she was 6, so I think it hits a little too close to home for her.
