Excellent headline!

FTA: Currently, the more intangible anger against deregulated market-driven capitalism is not chiming with the risk-averse French whose regulated economy has avoided many ups and downs.

Huh...

Headline +1.

Well done subby!

Allen. The end.: Excellent headline!

Yeah, no kidding. It would be a bit like Americans getting up in arms about the government's one-child-only policy.

This could really blow some Tea Party heads, as they are now in the uncomfortable situation of siding with the French. I guess this means no more freedom fries.

Aside from all you monkeys that love to hate on France, this is a bit of a weird coincidence.

The last great victory of the poor over the rich was the French Revolution. And they are so far sitting this one out. Very strange.

Relevant?

they would surrender to themselves, thus dividing by zero.

the French-surrender joke is ordinarily like the breaded meat of headlines - quick, easy and filling enough. but this one, this is like the cordon bleu of breaded meat jokes.

The French Revolution worked out so well for the French poor that within a generation they lost their entire healthy young male population supporting the ego of some midget Corsican.

Not French, but they used to be good buds with the USA. They are famous for the Guillotine though, which I believe is the answer for people in the financial world that believe home mortgages should be bundled and sold as investment vehicles. It is the answer for people who underwrite bogus chinese corporations going public on US exchanges, and it is the answer for many other troubling individuals who work on Wall Street.

I'd love to see history repeat itself, but I don't think we have the balls the French did back in the day.

I heartily approve of this.

"genius" and "brilliant" to describe a headline that is fairly obvious. Am I on Glue Here People?! (that old joke should go over well with this crowd - jeesh)
