Yes, it's only because you're on a reality show that people think it's a sham. It has nothing to do with the fact that I've taken dumps that have lasted longer than your marriage. (Chipotle is a biatch)

In a message to fans on her website, posted yesterday, Kardashian compared her relationship with Humphries to being on a fast rollercoaster she couldn't get off.

"I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship I didn't know how to and didn't want to disappoint a lot of people," she said.

But it wasn't a sham. Ok then.

But O.J. was innocent of the murder charges. A jury of his peers said so.

O.J. was found "not guilty", which isn't the same thing.

Fast rollercoaster she couldn't get off? Her ass was probably stuck in the car.

She didn't want to disappoint a lot of people? America, the time for revolution is now.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but in these parts isn't it "innocent until proven guilty", so by the act of being found "not guilty" then he is still innocent.

I do know somebody who gave that exact same excuse when she cheated on her husband of 1 year. Dated all through high school and college and then he proposed at her sister's grad party. She was all, "I wanted to say 'no', but everybody was there!"

Which evidently means you should just say yes, actually go through with it, cheat, and then split.

I don't think she's a very good person.

I agree. That distinction is just bullshiat lawyer talk. Either he's guilty or he isn't. It's binary. He was found not guilty so he's innocent.

/he did it

I hate that shiat because all the person is trying to do is shift the blame onto everyone else. Then again, that plastic, hairy brood has never known what personal responsibility is, so it makes sense that she would blame her fans for her getting married and subsequently divorced. That entire family is cancer, horrible ass cancer.

that no longer applies. he's guilty. the jury screwed up. "not guilty" simply means they were unable to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he did do it. people whose crime stories make it to not only the evening news but to every news, talk, and panel show, along with a jury trial live on camera for all the world to see, are guilty until proven innocent

People, People, PEOPLE.... we're getting off topic here. Kim Kardashian is getting divorced. By the transitive OJ property of A+C=A+B, we must therefore assume that the athlete who she married will someday murder her and some rich asshole in cold blood, only to get away with it.

Nope. Try and plead "innocent" in court. "Innocent" means you did no wrong, "not guilty" means you were could not be proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

And you're not "innocent until proven guilty", there is only the presumption of innocence.

Well she's on a reality show. Most people with half a brain understand that a lot of reality shows are scripted. What's not to say this whole marriage was set up by the E! network to boost ratings on her show and pull in money from her wedding ceremony? Oh, then all the fans of the show are dying to know what went wrong, to see Kim's anguish now that she's divorced, and now to see in the future how much smarter and stronger she is for having to deal with this. It's complete BS and I can't believe I'm commenting on this and that The Kardashians are pretty much THE news story the past 2 weeks in this country. When I was grocery shopping yesterday it was Kim K. on the cover of all the gossip mags "Kim and Chris on thin ice, CAN SHE SAVE HER MARRIAGE?!?!"

I can't wait for the rapture...

The beautiful thing about free speech/free expression in this country is that Kim Kardashian is allowed to be a total fame-whoring twunt on TV, and we're allowed to call her one.

You married for ratings, for money, for fame. Be a big girl and admit it, because no one actually believes otherwise. It might be refreshing for everyone's assumptions to be confirmed, rather than constantly denied.

Scotland has "guilty" "not guilty" and "not proven" as verdicts... I think that is an interesting system. However as I just got my Law GED by serving on a jury. We found the defendant "not guilty" He got away with something, but lack of evidence forced us to let him go.

Oh I would occupy dat ass.

Now to prove that the wedding wasn't a sham she is claiming that she didn't make any money off of it or sell the rights to broadcast it. So to keep up this lie she is willing to paint herself as the dumbest business person ever. Which is kind of crazy if you consider part of the point of her whole show is to show the world how she is this masterful business woman.

Citation? Because that's just a blatant lie. Newspapers everywhere were proclaiming "Kardashians made $17-30 million (not sure exactly) from their wedding."

They deserve to be sued. Not a single thing for that wedding was paid by them, and they made millions!

Well, first of all unintended consequences can be a real biatch!

Second, no. Not anymore at least. Consider how much money is made off of publicizing celebrities acting bad these days. Attention is the name of the game, and bad behavior can actually be better for holding people's attention than good behavior.

"Oh yeah, vapid celebrity twunt X just donated money to a homeless shelter. How nice." /changes channel
vs.
"OH. MY. GOD. Vapid celebrity twunt X is going back to rehab again! What drugs is she doing? Did you see how messed up she looked in those pictures yesterday? Where is she now? Is that going to violate her probation?" etc. etc. etc....

FTFY.

Their marriage dissolved in 72 days, and yet she married "for love." How the hell do you convince yourself in a mere few months (I would assume that the honeymoon itself, at least, was a honeymoon period) that you are suddenly and irrevocably not in love with someone?

I mean, seriously, 72 days ago the Red Sox were still the greatest baseball team in the history of baseball teams. Give it some time!

If any of that is true, how is it there are so many very busy wedding chapel in Vegas performing hundreds of legal marriages every day?
