A 10-year-old Aiken trick-or-treater pulled a gun on a woman who said she would take his candy on Halloween.

This seems like a proportionate response.

Turno said the boys got the weapons from their grandfather without permission.

Grandpaw needs a fine or some jail time and the loss of his guns to teach him more responsible gun ownership. The careless old fart just makes life harder for the many gun owners who act responsibly.

On Halloween some kids knock on the front door. The SO opened it to find a water gun pointed at her. It did startle her for a millisecond. Good thing it wasn't real cause I had my Sig holstered next to me at the time.

When I was a kid, a neighbor that was a good friend of the family did the "jump out of the bushes with a hockey mask and axe" trick and swung at my dad. No where close to hitting him as it was a joke, but startled my dad so bad he decked the guy. He felt like crap when he found out and said he thought he had just missed, not that he was kidding.

A device for holding a group of cartridges. Semantic wars have been fought over the word, with some insisting it is not a synonym for "detachable magazine." For 80 years, however, it has been so used by manufacturers and the military. There is no argument that it can also mean a separate device for holding and transferring a group of cartridges to a fixed or detachable magazine or as a device inserted with cartridges into the mechanism of a firearm becoming, in effect, part of that mechanism.

From another article: "The boys were taken into custody for a short time, BUT under South Carolina law, at their age, there's nothing to charge them with. Officers say it's possible they took the weapon from a family member without them knowing it."

I think I might have been able to fire 2/3 of the magazine without a jam, once, in 1995 or so.

In which case the woman was completely safe, as Tech9s are notoriously shiatty firearms with a bad tendency to not function.

It's like saying there's a difference between a yam and a sweet potato. While technically true, the terms have been used interchangeably for so long that on insufferable pendants try to force the issue. Or are you just soooo much more informed than the people at the NRA?

Maybe the NRA needs to edit all the Wiki articles to clear up this obvious confusion?

Yeah, I bought one used for $250 a couple of years ago and ended up giving away it was so shiatty. All it did was jam.

I've tried to get the angel to watch MTV so I can learn the vocabulary of your music, but even with the gift of tongues, I'm having trouble learning to speak hip-hop. Why is it that one can busta rhyme or busta move anywhere but you must busta cap in someone's ass? Is "ho" always feminine, and "muthafarka" always masculine, while "biatch" can be either? How many peeps in a posse, how much booty before baby got back, do you have to be all that to get all up in that, and do I need to be dope and phat to be da bomb or can I just be "stupid"? I'll not be singing over any dead mothers until I understand."
