You know how in old movies some woman would start getting hysterical, and the hero would clench his jaw and slap her, and she'd immediately calm down and often say "thanks, I needed that" or something along those lines? After reading that rant for some reason I'm finding myself thinking of those type of scenes right now. Can't imagine why.
