The real problem I have with cases like these is that people always compare video game violence is if every time Mario stepped on a Gooma a living human was beaten to death with a pipe wrench.

Furthermore, the important thing is that it would be embarrassing to associate with these people. Would you insist that every event for musicians is required to include Justin Bieber? Sometimes things harm your image, and sometimes we live in a free enough society to say or do what we want to do, not what some prick thinks is "fair".
