"Rare 2-Headed Albino Milk Snake"...sounds like a nickname for my....oh nevermind...

The article is wrong. That is not a two-headed snake, it is a one-bodied snakes.

Do the heads bite each other?

Two brains controlling the same body... sounds about right.

That isn't just a regular albino. That breeder must be on cloud 9.

But with two brains giving commands to a single body, Parker says the snake would have a difficult time surviving in the wild.

Good thing men live in captivity then. With a brain and a penis trying to control the body, we'd never survive in the wild.

Nasal_Avenger: That isn't just a regular albino. That breeder must be on cloud 9.

Agreed. The breeder just hit the jackpot.

Do snake species other than milks, corns, kings, etc (the colubrids) ever have this happen? It seems that every two-headed snake I've ever heard of fell into this category. Or maybe it's just because there are far more breeders of these pretty, non-venomous snakes than there are for other kinds, so just by sheer numbers we see these anomalies.

The San Diego zoo had a pretty two-headed snake named "Thelma and Louise" at one point - I think that was a corn.

I read the headline and conflated it with the one after it, so it came out thusly:

"My milk snake brings all the boys to the yard ... BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM"
