The top one requires more training to use right, but as far as I know is a much superior combat weapon, both offense and defense.

I read the primary reason for most precincts switching was because the old school tonfa style truncheon is associated with police brutality. Funny, since it's the more functional of the two for subduing a suspect.

I prefer Keaton as Batman, Bale as Wayne.

Mugato: Bale is way too sane and normal as Bruce Wayne, IMO.

That's why I like it. It's a believable front for the public. Bale Wayne--- "Bruce Wayne is Batman? HAHAHA! The guy's a smarmy trust fund party boy." Keaton Wayne--"Bruce Wayne is Batman?....Well, he is a f*cking crazy loner with lots of disposable income who keeps odd hours and never dates anyone."

Mugato: You're right. Bale's Wayne does have the "playboy douchebag" persona down. But they could have thrown in a few scenes when no one else was looking and he showed that he's really farked up.

Hopefully they'll do it in the last one. It would make sense, seeing as how Batman's a fugitive now and Bane is probably going to really f*ck him up.

The best portrayal of Batman I have ever seen is this kid (new window).

I absolutely mean it. When he's on top of the other kid screaming incoherently, it's exactly the kind of hilariously terrifying that Batman should be.

The problem with Bale's Wayne is that he already played Wayne perfectly. In American Psycho. I feel like Nolan's Batman would be a lot more fun if Bale brought more Bateman to the role, but then you have the issue of repeating a performance.
