skylabdown: Jake Havechek: skylabdown: Of course "Death of a President" was perfectly fine.

That's a British film, you consummate fool.

...That was lapped up by folks like you. It also played in theaters in the US.

Holy shiat, you're pathetic. Keep grasping those straws, sparky.

I wonder what the gop reaction to this would have been if some dim dem had done that to pubes and several other gop important faces. No doubt there would be public and bloody crucifixions of those involved. Mother farking disparity. How does it work?

CalvinMorallis: Practice on the one to be ready for what you'll encounter with the other.

Ahh, I get it you think if there were actual people out there who rabidly espoused those points of view they would admit it in public, and engage in debate.

Thats so cute.

All you can do with them is ignore them, both the mythical troll that operates without the anonymity of the internet and the paid trolls. And I dont mean Ignore them by hitting the now very convenient ignore button, I mean ignore by not responding.

They thrive on the responses they get its either the paycheck, or the occasional ego boost. Deny them the responses and the outsourced trolls will be removed as ineffective and the actual idiot trolls will go back to stormfront where they can get positive reinforcement from their real "friends".

The real story here is the trolling, lame-ass Fark headline. Mods are really falling over themselves to turn Fark into DailyKos, Jr.

AbbeySomeone: 'Black" man is targeted in VA?
No way!
Why do these people think they can get away with this sh*t?

Because they can.

The saddest thing I've witnessed over the last few years is the fact that the folks who were so anti-Bush seemed to actually care about good leadership but now it turns out they were just partisian shills all along... turning a blind eye to things like Obama trying to re-write FOIA rules to hide truth from the American People. All because he's "their guy."

Funny. I was under the impression that the country's two largest theatre chains refused to show it.

FubarBDilligaf: Maybe we should make a movie about his assassination, I'm sure the left will be glad to support that as artistic expression.....again.

I almost can't believe mental midgets like you are still banging this stupid farkin drum, but of course I've seen your posts before so...

No shiat, they should have just made a movie about his assassination... did it with Bush and no libs cried.

2011-11-01 08:49:35 AM

WTFDYW: The signs and posters of Bush were on the interwebs as are the ones against Obama. He refuses to 'recall' the ones about the former though. Again, that's how he rolls.

please indicate where i "refuse to recall the ones about the former."

you can't.

not only did i not "refuse to recall," i specifically cited them and called out the difference between a sign made by an individual and something created and defended by the official GOP.

perhaps the "farking idiot" comment was going too far, so i apologize and retract it

so, i will not call you a "farking idiot." i will simply call you what you clearly are: a liar.

but then that's how you roll, isn't it.

and let me state categorically that the bush death images are abhorrent and those people should have been investigated by the secret service.

Straws? You're "defense" is to say it was a British film. Well, it played in more theaters in the USA than all other countries combined and it also made most of its money here, 75%. So, I'd say it was supported whole heartedly by the lefties here more than anyone in the world... hence my straw!

What's your point? If something is made elsewhere but widely distributed here by US citizens, it's ok since it originated elsewhere? Oh that's right, you don't have a point.

Subby, would it have been so difficult to write "County GOP?" You know for accuracy?? I am sure you weren't trying to give the impression that this was nationally sanctioned, were you?

It was wrong when those on the left made death images with President Bush and it is equally wrong for those on the right to make death images of President Obama.

It is not cool....EVER.

Actually, it made 60 percent of its gross in the US, and that was only about 600k. If I made four dollars at my lemonaide sale and can truthfully claim that I made fifty percent of my sales off taxi drivers, the fact remains I still only made 4 bucks, and my lemonaide sale was not a success.

and at it's widest release Death of a president only showed on 140 screens, and it only played in the US for 2 weeks. So that hardly seems, to me, as if US theatres embraced it, or that US audience goers did, either.

You don't see a difference between saying "local GOP group" and "GOP"? Why did you make the distiction in your post then?

As it was already pointed out, this was a private citizen group of registered voters... not the national Republican party. No matter how much you want to believe it... it's just not the case. ...and the headline was a douchey attempt to conflate the truth.
