I need 70 points from Riverrunsthroughit and the SD Def.

Yeah, I'm screwed.

I need a good game from Bowe tonight. It's going to be a close one.

I need Rivers to get 11 points or less to win, so I hope he treats my opponent today like Joe Flacco treated me last week.

I need Rivers to get me 38 pts tonight (6 per pass TD, 20 yds/pt) because I benched Anquan Boldin over Dez Bryant. I'm apparently really dumb.

Go Chargers! Go KC offense so Rivers has to throw all night!

Early prediction based on the hairs on the left side of my ass, Matt Cassel wins the Jake with a 50.0 DR

Why would you bench Boldin against the Cardinals? I mean, I'd take Dez Bryant most weeks, but against the Cardinals? When his emotions are possibly running high and against a terribad D?

I need Bowe to pretty much outscore Battle and Rivers combined, thanks to the egg Brees and Colston laid.

I already won this week, on what has to be the luckiest week ever, considering I woke up too late to take Alfonso Smith out of my lineup(I thought he was the starter) and I had Graham Gano, who combined scored a whopping -1 points.

So I was leading by 11 with my opponent having DeMarco Murray and Miles Austin to go, though for sure Murray would murder me.

I won by 2.

I had another hilarious surprise scratch in Gresham, making my 4th of the season... 3 of which were "Probables" that just didn't play. The most frustrating was Marshawn Lynch, who suited up and just sat on the bench. I usually get up to watch the reports of who is going to play - but dammit if they just run out on the field and sit down there's nothing you can do.

/still won though

Man, reminds me of last week where I had McFadden up and I saw him on the sidelines in gear. I was like "WHAR MCFADDEN WHAAAAAAAAAR" and was really hoping he'd go back in.

He didn't, of course.

But considering how bad I did that week, not sure it mattered.

Chiefs first real test in 5 weeks (if you throw in the bye). The homer in me wants to completely ignore everything but last year's Monday night game but I realize the Chargers will most likely stomp on the Chiefs nards and Cassel is going to look extremely Cassely (146 yard, 0 TD's, 2 picks)

I need Gates to score less than 11 points to lock up my 3rd win of the season. C'mon Chefs!

They damned near beat them in San Diego, and Arrowhead will be a farking zoo tonight. 24-21 Chiefs, Cassel solid, if unspectacular...as always.

Just need one of these QBs to turn it over 3 times. All I ask. Don't care which.

2011-10-31 05:39:04 PM
Also, it wouldn't surprise me if the Chefs won, because Rivers hasn't looked spectacularly sharp and their coached by Norv Turner.

I think the biggest thing is: Can they contain Ryan Matthews? He ran all over them last meeting.

This happened to me last week. They ruled him out AFTER the game started. My first loss of the year.

So far this week I am ahead by 32. I'm done but my opponent has Matthews and Battle going tonight. My opponent is what we call the New England Patriots of the league: he's often pretty good, arrogant, and everyone hates him.

I feel your pain. The Jake has really changed the way I view football. Last night when Marty B popped up that pass into an INT I was thinking, "oh god, if Tony Romo wins The Jake because of Martellus Bennett..." and then I thought, "...wait, do I care about a Fark award?"

Then I thought, "...sadly, I do."

I already dominated this week (McCoy/Gore combo ftw), but I'd like a confidence boost from Gates. My alternative is Fred Davis, and I don't want anything to do with the Redskins.

A reasonable 1/2 pick in a small league.

2011-10-31 05:48:45 PM
To elaborate, my RBs in a 10-man auction were Gore/McFadden. That turned out well.

A field goal from Novak and a 10-yard TD to Gates seals up both of my leagues for me.

I need 1 catch for 5 yards for Antonio Gates to win this week. Looks like he'll play. Very tough week for me with Forte, McFadden, and Roddy White on bye.

/#1 by far in total points in my league
//#1 by far in total points against
/// 3 and farking 4 record, I need this win

Well you won't like that I have rice AND foster.
Wallace and Austin too. Had Britt until his injury.

Got 99 problems, but a Running Back ain't one.
McCoy, Gore, Murray, Mendenhall, Brown.

So this one's going to be a fantasy football thread along with the CJ34yds thread eh?

I'm mostly sad that I missed my draft when my draftees sucked, so I missed cleaning up(McFadden and Welker at least on my starting roster, plus one of Gore, Brady, Calvin Johnson...let's not even get into me forgetting to set auto-picker meaning my auto-draft chose Peyton Hillis and DeSean Jackson over Matt Forte, Wes Welker, Dwayne Bowe, Dez Bryant and Marques Colston).

2011-10-31 06:07:25 PM
If you're wondering, thanks to trades/FA pickups, my team right now is:

Matt Schaub (Auto-Draft)
Darren McFadden (Steal trade!)
MJD (Draft, trying to trade off)
Pierre Thomas (FA)
Alfonso Smith (Picked up since I thought he'd start, gonna be dropped this week)
Cedric Benson (He got dropped when he was suspended despite being only one game, snapped up on waiver day)
Andre Johnson (Draft)
Victor Cruz (FA)
Deion Branch (Trade)
Santonio Holmes (Trade)
Doug Baldwin (FA)
Greg Little (FA, gonna be dropped)
Aaron Hernandez (Draft)
Bengals D/ST (FA, great pickup!)
Graham Gano (FA, gonna get dropped after last week, especially because I picked up...)
Sebastian Janikowski (FA)

If all goes right, I'll pick up Joseph Addai, Daniel Thomas and one of Steve Breaston, Braylon Edwards, Percy Harvin or...shiat, forgot the last guys name.

Will Uncle Phil Rico throw it over a mountain tonight? If Coach keeps him in the game could they have been state champs? Can Uncle Phil Rico throw it a quarter mile?

No...because he is vastly over-rated and the more key tools they lose from their 'good years' ie, the years the Raiders, Chiefs and Doncos couldn't get out of the way of stepping on their own dicks, the more it will be revealed. Despite the Chargers being atypical and winning early, they will be exposed, AGAIN, as barely capable of making the playoffs, let alone advancing in them.

This being said, I need Noodle-Arm Rivers to get me points in an FFB league tonight. I think I have my Fark league H2H wrapped up.
