I'm still waiting for the 2pac/Winehouse collab.

The rest on booze?

I tend to think it's more of a "spelunk" than a "drop". You know, when something smelly, compressed and gross falls from above into a bowl of toilet water...

Surly you mean that only one of the tracks was on the topic of drugs.

"I spent so much time chasing after Amy..."

Oh, enough of this farking melodrama! My advice, forget her, dude. There's one biatch in the world, one with many faces.

That's probably because she was a drunk not a drug addict.

10 tracks of her vomiting into a toilet over a drum machine?

Man, I hope it's good. Back to Black was damn near perfect.

I'm a little worried they'll cobble it together from whatever they had and they'll release songs that weren't ready but we'll see.

Majority of the songs were recorded 8-9 years ago. Old shiat recycled.

Me too. She had immense amounts of talent and potential.
Always surprised to see so much hate for her.

I'll admit, I long thought of her has having one novelty hit ("Rehab") and otherwise just turning up on Fark all the time looking like a hot mess, but after she died my wife started playing her stuff like crazy (she had the foresight to pick up both of her albums on vinyl that first weekend) and I've gained a huge amount of respect for her talent. Word is there's a fair amount of stuff in the vault, so I'm hopeful that there are still a few gems to be unearthed.

Yep i LOVED "Back to Black" and "Frank" was pretty good as well. Hopefully this turns out decent.

Honest Bender: Surly you mean that only one of the tracks was on the topic of drugs.

That's *exactly* what was meant-and don't call me Surly.

do Club 27ers listen to their releases after they've died?

Dwight_Yeast: That's probably because she was a drunk not a drug addict.

Exactly. She was drinking and taking meds to treat alcoholism at the same time. It was good that she was able to kick the hard drugs, but she was a far cry from sober.

It's dropping? So it's rap music then?

Hope it doesn't break when they drop it.
