Jim,

Thundersnow is not that exciting. Interesting, sure, but yeah... you're getting a little too worked up over it.

Seriously.

Nothing gets me more excited than watching someone get paid to pretend to be excited.

I thought that was a double-kinky kind of bukkake that involved enemas and spitting

2011-10-31 10:39:42 AM
WOW! I, uh, I just need a moment right now.

"Did you hear that? Did you hear that through my microphone?"
"Yes, I did Jim. That's why I didn't give a shiat and kept on answering your question about tree limbs..."

Why does a weatherman get so worked up over a pretty common weather phenomena?

What a buffoon.

in my 4 year tenure at Syracuse university, i experienced that about 100 times. gimme a break. "i need a moment here" what a toolbox.

I will admit it amazed me the first time it happened.

\happened again saturday night during this storm in CT also

People, it is a channel that talks exclusively about the weather. They have to make up how exciting things are or their viewers might wander back over to OWN.

It's not that common. I live in Western New York and have only heard thunder during a snowstorm twice! And I thundersnowed in my pants both times.

Yeah, pretty much this, but living in the South I supposed it would be a big deal for Jim. For me, it's kinda a, meh.

It happened a couple of times in Colorado in the 3 years I lived there. Not common, but not really rare either. We usually saw it in the spring as things began to warm up a bit. It is interesting, but nothing to get too excited over.

Thundersnowed, Ah ah a ah, ThunderSnowed, Ah ah a ah, ThunderSnowed, you've been thunder snowed.

/Weather is exciting to me, Damn it!
//I prefer being in a thick fog and hearing something explode somewhere and wonder if it be a power transformer.

I live in NJ and I've only heard it during three storms in the 25 years I've been alive. I imagine that anyone who gets lake effect snow will hear it quite often, but everywhere else it's fairly uncommon. It scared the crap out of me yesterday. I have several very large oak trees behind my house and I thought one of them was coming down both times I heard it.

It was surprising/neat the first time. Then I found out it's not all that rare. Oh, Jim...

Thundersnow by Cougar (new window)

/My apologies to Cougar, I can't find it in ant official manner other than the Cougar website and I can't link directly to the song

Jim is faking thundersnows.

I was on a mountain in New Mexico in a snow storm and saw lightning hit a tree right near me with an insta-KA-BOOM. Scared the crap out of me and I never skied so fast off a mountain before or since.
