I visited several years ago when the field was split among two property owners. It looks like it's all one ownership now?

Why is it possible to see some sports threads but not others at the moment?

The field is owned by one owner, and the house is owned by another. They don't get along.

From this article, it looks like the field was sold.

Most of the field had the same owner as the house. Part of left field and center was another owner, that's why there were two different souvenir stands. There was a power line that ran from shallow left to deep center, I'm assuming the power line went down the property line. When they restrung the power line after the movie shoot they really should have buried it, but I'm sure they didn't expect the field to still be there in the future.

Much as city folks have done for many a small town, big city investors will commence improving on its rustic charm with a huge freaking baseball and softball tournament complex. That they could put that anywhere but the fact they would do it in Dyersville shows they are utterly clueless.

Glad I made it there a few years ago.

They should build a massive freaking domed stadium in the corn and make it a permanent world series site. The Corndome.
