Hell, I would've.

dammit. just so i can say i put my name on it, here's my picks for the NFL THREAD WHICH IS NOT POSTED YET. DAMMIT.

@Tennessee -8 Indianapolis 43.5
Tennessee is 2-1 at home, Indy remains winless. Tennessee to win outright, but i admit, that number kinda vexes me. I think it should be higher. But, these teams are 25th and 26th in scoring. Ehh. Tennessee outright, double digits but on the order of 21-10, 23-14. On that note, take the under.

@ Houston -9.5 Jacksonville 41
Houston 2-1 at home, Jags winless OTR. Not unlike above, I'm not sure about this numebr. I can't buy into Houston yet. I think they'll win, but that is a mighty big number and I think Jax finds a sneaky cover.

@Carolina -3.5 Minnesota 46.5
Carolina outright. They've shown the ability to score points (despite being 2-5, they are 10th in points scored) so I like them outright today.that over is tempting....Minnesota has also thrown up some pretty respectable point totals (and a 10 point performance recently, to be fair) so the only thing i'm really confident in is the over. But yeah. the Sir Isaac show is rpetty cool to watch.

New Orleans -13.5 At St. Louis 48
huge number.....I say NO, screw the points. Rams are just dreadful. I sold a ton of Sam Bradford stock last year, consistently saying, "when he gets weapons around him, watch the fark out". Unfortunatley, his line is horrible. H ecan't get anythign done out there. I saw NO and the over. Saints are the #1 team in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE in scoring, averging 34.1 per.

@ Baltimore -12.5 Arizona 43
Balt on the short week, but Arizona playing breakfast football. At kickoff, it will be 10AM for the arizona players body clocks. traditionally, we suck ass playing this early. we played alright at times last week vs Pittsburgh, but 3-4 plays in the game determined the outcome. I say Arizona with a sneaky cover.

patting myself on the back here: sunday and monday, i was extremely criticial of the safety we gave up, on a base 4 rush, with the right side of arizona's line inexplciably diving left and leaving the Steeler literally untouched as he sacked Kolb. guess what play and what pionts Ron Jaworski made on local sports talk radio friday? "guys, one play in particlar in that game, the inexplicable play by the cardinal offensive line, the guard and tackle palying the wrong gap, and leaving steelers DE joe blow a clear line to kolb...."

@NY Giants -9.5 Miami 41.5
Huh. Miami is pretty bad, NYG overraged, Miami can't win at home but can play well OTR.....That's a mighty big number ofr an overrated NYG team. I'll say Miami covers. Havne't run the numbers on this at all. i just thinkg NYG has been getting inexplicable love from the bettors with some stupid lines (ex. a, the 10.5 or 11 versus Seattle a few weeks back). I say miami to cover.

@Buffalo(Toronto) -4 Washington 45
Buffalo houses it. Washington is worse than they appear, this line arguably should be higher.

Detroit -3 At Denver 42.5
Staffrods banged up right? Is he even starting? I don't look at injury reports so I can't say. I'll say Detroit outright.

New England -2.5 At Pittsburgh 52.5
NICE. I'm just not sold on NE. They're always #2 or #3 in power rankings, and I don't see it. I think Pittsburgh's defense hasn't played as well as they should. I think today, the Steelers win the day.

@San Francisco -9 Cleveland 38.5
SF clearly has the NFC West. But the national buy-in was pretty quick and on soem level, kinda unjustified. Cleveland is 28th in scoring, this will be a huge SF win. I'm just not ready to anoint them as much as others have. But cleveland is pretty bad.

Cincinnati -1.5 At Seattle 37.5
Cincinnati outright. I don't knwo what Pete Carroll is doing up there but his teams are wildly, freakishly inconsistent. And Cincy is not as bad as they look. the only way this would give me pause would be if the line was like, 6 or 7. I see this one beign around a 7-9 pt win. take the over, too. Seattle will give up points now.

@Philadelphia -3 Dallas 48.5
interesting....Dallas outright. I dont' see Vick finishing this game. and for no reason, i think Romo will have one of his stupid 3 TD, 350 yard games.

A page called Kegs 'n Eggs covering a BYU team? Remember guys, this is a state in which people look down on you if you drink 3.2% alcoholic beer on occasions that aren't your wedding nights.

Yeah....wow. Uh....top 2 defense in the NFL vs Top Run defense at 3.1 per carry. Rookie QB at one of the hardest stadiums to play in. If you're betting the over on this game, a fool and his money are soon parted.

Love my Saints but this has all the markings of a trap game. I hope I'm wrong but after last week's performance, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a major letdown.
