(YouTube) Amusing From MST3K's 3rd season, it's the classic episode Daddy-O. Watch as Joel, Servo, and Crow tackle this cheesy 50's crime caper, complete with music from John Williams. "He's singing the left side of the menu"   (youtube.com) divider line 13

I'd say so. I'd go so far as to say that it's one of the best efforts of Season 3.

The riffing of the "Rock Candy Baby" song combined with the subsequent "Hike Up Your Pants" song might be among my favorite five minutes of MST3Kdom. The "Alphabet Antics" short is pretty good, too.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians and The Amazing Colossal Man might represent the absolute best of Season 3, but Daddy-O's a lot of solid work, too.

Daddy-O is heavily referenced and call-back'd in other MSTs too.

Want some? I sure do! Daddy-O is one of my favorites.

*snert*

I dig the Gamera movies, don't get me wrong.

If I had to go with the Japanese productions of Season 3, I'd go with the two Fugitive Alien movies.

BIG time.

It comes in handy when Dick Contino reappears in the Season 6 episode Girls Town.

Daddy-O is *boss,* no doubt about that!

Lots of quotable riffs, AND it goes great with The Beatniks.

"I'm afraid he had too much to drink."

*sitcom laughter*

Darth_Lukecash: And big heaping gobs of butter.

Yeah, that one scene with him and his lackey was... unfortunate.

Mugato: Cool.

Hope you enjoyed it!

Girls Town was pretty good. It has Paul Anka. A very young Paul Anka. There's a street named after him here. Not a great neighbourhood.

I prefer the SF and horror classics. Big Daddy was OK though.

I am now watching Twilight: New Moon with Riff Trax. Wish me luck. I'm going to need it, even with the guys. Oh God, it's painful. And I've already watched the third one.
