They call themselves "NKOTBSB", Which I would assume stands for "New Kids on the Backstreet Boys".

Fitting name.

Gearing up for their joint tour, with their own homoerotic mashup name, N'98 Degrees?

Apos: Step by step....back into shiatty bubblegum music.

The only thing preventing the music label from turning the moneyboat 20th anniversary of Nirvana into a reunion tour is that Dave Grohl has a successful career in the Foo Fighters. If he hadn't succeeded we'd be seeing a Disney Channel "bad boy" filling in for Kurt Cobain and Avril Lavigne as the opening act.

On that page.

They were the sexiest pin-ups of their day. But with a combined age of 110, Debbie Harry and Sinead O'Connor appear to have lost their way a little on the style front.

Who the fark writes that dreck? Yea, they got older. Holy shiat, someone send them to the glue farm.

I hate boy bands as much as anyone, but these guys likely have more farking money than they know what to do with. Announcing hiatus from Applebees? More like announcing a hiatus from their Charlie Sheenesque lifestyles.

Actually, I had a chance to go see them during their last tour, and it was great. Exceptional, I'd say, and I've never really been a fan of either band before. I know some people might not believe me, but it's true. I was blown away by the combination. They seem to really have a knack for music and performance. You should have seen that one guy dance. Man. The crowd was really into it, they were clapping and singing along to every song from beginning to end, just having a wonderful time. I really enjoyed the sound of the band and the vocalists, and the setlist was perfectly chosen. It was well balanced between hits and the best tracks from their album together, which, let's admit, was pretty fantastic. The show went 4 and a half hours, just solid show business professionalism from a group of legendary performers who prove time and again that they are the real thing when it comes to true talent in the 21st century. My mind was boggled by how incredible they all are. So, if Journey and Def Leppard come to your town next summer, I highly suggest checking them out.

It took my friend 20 minutes and a google search to prove to me this wasn't a joke. I saw the song name info on the radio in my car said "NKOTBSB" and refused to believe something as stupid as "New kids on the backstreet boys" could exist.

While you may consider the Backstreet Boys and NKOTB as teen-pop dreck, you have to AT LEAST admit they're far better than the Jonas Brothers or Bieber. Any pioneers of a movement are almost always better than the followers. In this case, NKOTB/BSB/NSYNC started the Boy Band Invasion. (Unless you count the Jackson 5 or New Edition as boy bands, in which case the previous trifecta I mentioned were the revival then of the movement.)

My sister. She saw the show in Detroit, then she and her friend drove down to Chicago and they saw the show again two days later with some of their Chicago based pals. She says they were great concerts. So I guess if you like boy bands this is the show to see. I, however, would probably go on a psychotic rampage if I ever got dragged to one of these things. Seriously, my sister did nothing but blast boy bands on her stereo when I was in high school.
