FTA: Claudia looks like a little girl with perfect curls, but she is in fact 700 years old.

Huh? I guess I need to re-read those books.

I thought Louis was turned in the 18th or early 19th century, and her after him?

You got it right. Unless Rice has done some weird time travel thing with the series since then (quit reading after Queen of the Damned).

No, Claudia wasn't 700 years old. And the girls from the Shining weren't "evil". They were scary but not evil. Like the dead girl in The Sixth Sense. They were just ghosts. And little girls make scary ghosts.

The baby from "It's Alive". That motherfarker was evil.

2011-10-28 01:24:17 PM
Since when did Anne Rice get moved out of "Comedy"?

2011-10-28 01:40:26 PM
Rhoda from "The Bad Seed" was evil.

The Mayfair Witches were better than Rice's vampires IMHO. My given name is Carol Ann, and yes I had long blonde hair, but less fatal kidney disorders and cleansing midgets.

She DESERVED that medal!!

MorrisBird: Rhoda from "The Bad Seed" was evil.

Definitely. She should have been on the list.

However, they did include Anthony Fremont, which is a good thing.

That movie creeped my son out when he was like 8. :)

Honorable Mention:

Chucky the Doll

Yes, there's an adult serial killer inside that toy, but that doll is meant to look like a child, so it kind of counts....maybe. Whatever.

Oh....and since Halloween is on a Monday, I will be really disappointed if Jon Gruden doesn't dress up as Chucky.

Fun fact: Bucs fans were banned from carrying in Chucky dolls in Ra-Jay stadium.

I know it wasn't a horror movie - but the dead baby crawling on the ceiling in Trainspotting was farking creepy.

Also, the annual fark thread, which I'm very much looking forward to, will hopefully get more stories in it than last year. It was on a weekend last year, and the thread wasn't as epic as usual.

What about Mischa Barton in The Sixth Sense? She was terrifyingly skinny and hollow-eyed, she looked like an anorexic raccoon.

How could any child be good with that kind of haircut? The bangs alone qualify you to be a serial killer.

Agreed. That wasn't a bad flick all things considered.

My wife and I are expecting identical twin girls in January. I told her when they're 6 or 7 I'm dressing them like the Grady twins from The Shining and splicing them into the movie. She thinks I'm joking.

The Singing Bush: My wife and I are expecting identical twin girls in January. I told her when they're 6 or 7 I'm dressing them like the Grady twins from The Shining and splicing them into the movie. She thinks I'm joking.

That sounds pretty bad ass, I would defiantly do that. However real life, don't dress them identically or make their names rhyme. That's really lame.

I think he should name them Lindsey and Lindsay.

Hey subby, FTFA: These children are all characters in their own right, so characters such as the twin girls from The Shining, while definitely creepy, are only there in the background as part of the atmosphere, so there isn't much to say about them.

One step ahead of you. Luckily, the Mrs. already said she didn't want to dress them identically (similar color schemes so that they match, but not the same - whatever), and the names we picked don't rhyme.

Inaditch:

If they were boys, two names that end it "ayden" - there's so many possibilities!

List referenced the original version, but yeah, that kid from the movie creeped me the hell out. I think the worst was when the sister turned around and HAD NO MOUTH. Gah.

Did they list the Montgomery Baby from American Horror Story? THAT thing is farked up. I guess it's not too obvious or well known, since that's a new show. But damn is it freaky...
