When I was in school, the principal and assistant principals were the least popular individuals of the student body and frequent targets of insults, contempt, and mockery. Even the trees on school property were covered with graffiti carvings of messages insinuating the alleged homosexuality of said individuals and/or promiscuity of their mothers. Yes, I've read about "grooming" too. My point was that what I saw in those emails struck me as the OPPOSITE of grooming, ANTI-seduction. Almost like he was TRYING to creep them the fark out. I doubt that was his intent, but that's how it came off to me.

I knew a girl in high school who got involved with a teacher. I'm really not sure of the extent to which their relationship was sexual, but I gather it was greater than zero. This was in the wild and heady days of the late 90's; if the parents or the administration ever found out about it, I don't think it became a public or criminal matter.
