Jules: I want you to go in that bag, and find my wallet.
Pumpkin: Which one is it?
Jules: It's the one that says Bad Motherfarker

Wh-what?

True, but sort of unfair. Not that he hasn't been in some awesome movies, but frankly, he's making it up in sheer volume.

RICH, MOTHERF*CKER, CAN YOU BE IT?

2011-10-27 01:57:25 PM
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you." I been sayin' that shiat for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfarker before you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shiat this mornin' made me think twice. Now I'm thinkin': it could mean you're the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. .45 here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of darkness. Or it could be you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. I'd like that. But that shiat ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin, Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd."

So he passed John Ratzenberger (new window)?

MaxxLarge: True, but sort of unfair. Not that he hasn't been in some awesome movies, but frankly, he's making it up in sheer volume.

And many of those he was barely in it.

Yea, he was in Episodes 1-3 of Star Wars, but he didn't really bring that much to the movie.

Nobody did.

Rustico: So he passed John Ratzenberger (new window)?

Last I checked $3 billion was still less than $7.4 billion.

/have a feeling it'll stay that way for some time, too.

I'm pretty sure Jungle Fever wasn't SLJ's acting debut. It wasn't even his first Spike Lee movie. If only there was some website or database of sorts where you could look up an actor's filmography.....

2011-10-27 02:50:47 PM
I rad an interview with him a couple of years back where he had read that Harrison Ford made $10 million per movie while Jackson "only" made $7 million.
He described himself as just starting to get miffed, then realized "nubian's making $7 million! WOOOO!"

2011-10-27 02:51:34 PM
He didn't say "nubian".

I was using his words, honest.

What are these episodes 1-3 you speak of? Everyone knows those were never made.

I thought Eddie Murphy was. All those kids movies made Eddie one rich mofo.

I bet he hasn't had it with all those motherf*cking benjamins in his motherf*cking bank account.

My bad, it's Will Smith who is the highest paid actor of all time.

/I get my black folk mixed up sometimes.

Psycoholic_Slag: I thought Eddie Murphy was. All those kids movies made Eddie one rich mofo.

They were not good enough to make any kind of money. Jackson, although hard-working and picks some questionable roles, chooses his blockbusters wisely.

Eddie Murphy is #3 on the list. Samual Jackson didn't even make the top ten.

You mean Mr. 9mm.

You are correct that the pistol he is holding in the film is actually a .45 but the line says 9mm.

"Hello?"
"Hi there, Mister Jackson! This is David Miscavige with the Church of Scientology!
We're having a little get together at Johnny's house this weekend and.."

"Hello? Mr. Jackson? Are you there? Hellooooo?"

He had bit parts in some of those movies, these days he is doing a lot of B movies.

2011-10-27 04:49:24 PM
The "L" in Samuel L. Jackson stands for "motherfarker."

Yolanda, I thought you said you were gonna be cool. Now when you yell at me, it makes me nervous. And when I get nervous, I get scared. And when motherfarkers get scared, that's when motherfarkers accidentally get shot.

The actor has appeared in more than 100 movies since his big break in Spike Lee's 1991 movie...

He has averaged four films a year over the last 20 years...

Math, motherfarker - DO YOU SPEAK IT???

Where does this claim come from?

Frank Welker's work has grossed $12 billion and he's the leader. Link (new window)

That's a very important word there. He could easily do 6 movies one year and 3 the next, meaning he averaged 4.5 movies per year over that span. So math, do YOU speak it?

Motherfarking insane anime. Wish they'd continue it.

I'm guessing they're not including voice actors in their tally, and Frank is nothing but prolific as a voice actor.

I love that there are several legends about a movie/TV show using animals (a dog, a horse, whatever) and the crew were putting in the credits for Frank as the SFX of that animal when, all of a sudden, the crew remembers they used an actual live animal for the sound effects.

Nobody is going to mention "hightest?" As in he is high-test fishing line. Normally the spelling, grammar, or punctuation police catch it by now. Hell you could even use:

Check out this headline! English Mother-farker, do you speak it?

2011-10-27 05:46:22 PM
Also I should have put a comma after English... oh well, just was surprised that no one noticed "hightest"
