That is so not true. They didn't have all of those stupid orange plastic bits on toy guns when I was a kid. I had a plastic BB gun that looked just like a real 9 mm until you got close, and a cap gun that was solid metal.

Toy guns today (with the exception of Airsoft and the like) are much more fake-looking now. I'm not sure if it's more to do with people shooting kids with fake guns, or 7/11s getting held up by people with fake guns.

Yeap. Last few costumes I've looked into would have been gun optional, but I couldn't any realistic toy guns. Airsoft, paintball, and the like are about the closest available. Everything else is typically some bright green or orange, often done in neon tones.

Oh, and sexy pikachu costume is not cool. It freaks me out.

Years ago; my friend paul went to a halloween party as a person with special needs. The entire night he pretended that he was special; his girlfriend, carol, said that most of the other girls approached her during the night and told her how kind she was for going out with paul. I'll admit I laughed about it to my self all night; when paul met a guy dressed up as a banana, paul said " HI, mr. banana". I couldn't take it anymore and busted out laughing. Paul asked me what was so funny and I said "you are". I'm pretty sure the only reason I didn't get my butt kicked was that I was with him.

I mean they don't tend to sell them in neon colours, but there's no law stopping you form painting your own. I love how at the very end the near by hay is starting to burn. It's a shame we don't get the OH SHIAT! moment when he sees that he's set dads hay on fire.
