Hindsight. You have it, now.

Sometimes you have to wonder how he's managed to maintain his wealth and standing. The man's an idiot.

Doesn't he go bankrupt on a regular basis?

He must have enough wealth to insulate himself from major catastrophes and the threat of inhaling his toupee and choking to death.

Well, having your daddy leave you huge chunks of Manhattan in his will certainly helps.

I'm guessing he does all of his business through a series of LLCs and Corps. Each project is run through a different one. That way, if he makes money he gets to keep it, if a project fails instead of costing him money, it's the banks/investors lose their shirts and he's just out whatever time/effort he put into it.

It appears the epic biatchslap he received did leave a mark.

Attention duelists! My hair is having second thoughts regarding my recent shenanigans!

Lame. I really want a derpy third party candidate to run with "Where birth certifcit wher" as one of their main policy positions to give people even more reason to never vote for the GOP/Tea Party ever again.

2011-10-27 01:42:39 PM
Didn't he say just yesterday that adding birtherism to Perry's campaign platform will help Perry?

2011-10-27 01:43:28 PM
Birtherism is basically the default setting for Republican politicians. If someone forgets to upload a policy position or their previous positions have expired, they just start spurting off about birth certificits.

2011-10-27 01:43:53 PM
Well, yeah, because Obama proved he was born here. It's like... oh, I know! Say there's this scientific process called evolution that has been proven to occur. If people denied that, they'd never get elected to public offi--

Oh.

2011-10-27 01:44:18 PM
Thinks? He learned that the hard way.

2011-10-27 01:53:25 PM
citing what people are saying on "the internet" as a reason why certificate wasn't real.

In related news, Glenn Beck was just arrested...

That kind of thing doesn't always hold up to scrutiny...which is the main reason I think he bailed on his Presidential bid.

Looks like those political-office-grabbing classes were a waste of money.

Well, he'd know.

So is wanting to restrict abortions to the point of wanting to even ban contraceptives. So is wanting to put up electrified fences. So is wanting to bomb half the world off the map (except, of course, for Libya. Because the black guy did it.). So is wanting to cut the budget so low that millions of people go into the unemployment lines.

Yet these idiots keep peddling it.

FTA: "Well, I think it's good for him in the Republican primary, I don't necessarily know if it's good in the general election."

That insightful nugget of wisdom just summed up 90% of what GOP contenders have been saying recently. Unfortunately they seem to lack the foresight to understand it. If you yell "Birffer/Secretmuslin/Gays/Abortions" at the top of your lungs loud enough it might win you the GOP primary, but all that stuff works against you once you actually win it.

The basic problem with our country is that to get elected you apparently need to be as polarizing as possible and demonize the enemy. But for government to actually work Democrats and Republicans need to work together.

Imagine how bad it would be if this line of thinking spilled over into the three branches of government (Executive, Legislative and Judicial*). A world where congress constantly seeks to thwart or impeach the president and the the Supreme Court is also running amok and against both the president and congress, etc. It would be crazy! But our two political parties have devolved to that state of affairs with each other.

* I named them for you just in case you're a politician (new window)

If you believe the President of the United States of America is not American ..... please do the rest of us a favor and kill yourself.

I mean do you realize just how retarded we look to the rest of the world for even entertaining the thought? Think about that for a moment:

What if we took a visit to the United Kingdom, and several of the Congressmen mentioned in front of our President, "Well, you can talk to the Prime Minister. But be careful. We have our doubts as to whether he is British.

President Obama, "He isn't British? You haven't checked his documentation?"

Loony Congressmen, "Well, he gave us all the documentation and our national security forces ahve cleared him ..... but these guys on the Internet say it's all fake."

President Obama, "You people are retarded....."

And the Republicans remember that, not five months ago, their biggest hope was DONALD TRUMP. How farking embarrassing. If they had dignity, they might have lost it right there.

2011-10-27 03:01:10 PM
It's a good thing that Republicans gave up on the silly idea of supporting a rich, eccentric businessman who's never won an election before and switched to Herm--uh oh.

2011-10-27 03:07:22 PM
Sounds like he just flipped on his flop

Birferism is a good way to goose-up your visibility in the media and promote your TV show before bowing out of the race, but it doesn't work if you are planning to even make it to the primary. There's no hypocrisy there.

Perry is just at the "I CAN OUT-CRAZY ALL OF THEM" stage of his candidacy.

I don't know about the catastrophes, but he feeds the toupee regular infusions of virgin blood and the spleens of elderly nuns to keep it from killing him in his sleep.

And it's magnificent.

Hmmm... saying things that prove you to be a complete farking moron could be bad politics? Ya don't say!

/of course, there are still republicans in office, so I guess it is pretty successful most of the time...

Look at the clowns in the GOP primaries and remember that Trump could not hang with them.

He was never running for office anyways. It was all a commercial for the Apprentice.
