It's like people who make money with money have no concept that 99% of the nation as to work longer and harder to earn less than 1% of what they make in an hour. Shocking.

"I, like you, get a little incensed when you think about how much good all of you do, whether it's volunteer hours, charitable giving we do, serving clients and customers well," Moynihan said to employees in a global town hall meeting last week, Bloomberg reports.

No offense, B-Dog, but BoA isn't in the business of volunteering or charitable giving. It's a muthafarking bank (who's serving clients and customers poorly, I might add).

/It's like saying John Wayne Gacy was a horrible mass murderer, but he made a fantastic clown.

Incensed? Does that mean we can stick him on a piece of wood and light him on fire?

Pity the poor, poor banks. Won't someone come to their rescue on Internet message boards?

"You ought to think a little about that before you start yelling at us."

Here's the thing, asshat. You're not serving your clients well. And so they've decided to take their money elsewhere.

Tone deaf doesn't even begin to describe this guy.

BTW, if you have money in Bank of America, you are going to want to get it out as soon as possible. A couple weeks ago they quietly moved their toxic derivatives on to the depositor balance sheet, in this way they can buffer the losses from those assets with depositor cash, and force the FDIC to pay off the people who lose their savings to their malfeasance... while at the same time preserving the bank's higher margin assets to maintain their profits when they get bailed out again.

No he isn't. There isn't going to be some sort of (another) revolution in this country. I just don't see that ever happening. People will get pissed. They'll yell. They'll threaten. But they....hey, American Idol Finals is on! What was I saying?

To be fair, I pretty much got out of the BofA conglomerate when they kept buying up banks that I was in. I got out of Fleet, and then BOOM they bought up my new bank. Screw these cats. They jiggered enough charges and played games with fees enough that I will no longer do business with anyone they're associated with.

They did this the old fashioned way: screwing their customers. I don't care how much you nurse sick kittens in your off time, your customer service is a joke, and your fee schedules are designed to alienate your customer base. This is the market's reaction. The market is rejecting you, and if you get mad at your potential customer base for not recognizing your "fantastic" services, you're doing it wrong.

No thank you. Y'all suck eggs, and if you want us back as customers, maybe you need to look at what your competition is doing, as opposed to just yelling and screwing over the rest of the folks who still have accounts with you.

WOW I did not realize suntrust is doing this. I have A LOT of money in various accounts with them (mostly college money for the kids). I hope it really pisses them off when I go in there tomorrow and take out over 100K and move it to a credit union.

A few years ago I started banking with BofA because I was about to move and could access my money easily (they were the only big chain available in the town I was moving to).

At the start of the year, I'm moving to DC, and so looking forward to canceling my account with BofA and going to a local credit union or small bank.

2011-10-26 04:00:20 PM
Close any account you have with BoA, JP MorganChase, etc and open up an account with a credit union.

Because of how banks are leveraged, every $1 you take out of these banks takes away $10 that the bank is able to use to make money.

Hit them where it hurts. Cut them off at the knees.

Are you ok with BofA intentionally forcing the government to pay for your savings?

I wonder how that's not like intentionally burning your house down to make the insurance claim...

Not surprising. Psychopathy is a mental disorder characterized primarily by a lack of empathy and remorse, shallow emotions, egocentricity, and deceptiveness.

Also:
"A psychopath always thinks he is the smartest person in the room and has no respect for the differing opinions of others. Psychopaths have an exaggerated sense of entitlement. They expect large rewards for mediocre efforts, apply for important jobs despite lacking qualifications, demand authority and privileges above their rank, and are ungrateful. It is not uncommon for psychopaths to describe their victims as weak, inferior beings who deserve to be taken advantage of"

Actually, no. Bank of America holds 12% of American deposits. I don't think the FDIC has the funds to cover a collapse of that magnitude.

Are they going to drown some puppies and drink fresh squeezed baby blood as an encore? I want to start seeing some more bankers behind bars and soon. Time to start paying million dollar rewards to employees for blowing the whistle on this type of shiat. Pay the rewards with the seized assests of the companies doing the fraud.

"Charitable work" my ass...

What they mean is once a year about 20 of them put on tee shirts and clean the wrappers and empty water bottles from a 40 foot section of the Charles River bank for about 90 minutes.
