I'm 31, and this Catalano crap is the most self-indulgent horse poop I've seen in a while.

You're alone out there. You're going to have to kick and scrape and claw your way out of the shiat. Get used to it.

Then you're grown, and shouldn't say the word poop.

Wow, naming your generation after some pretty boy character on an obscure TV show no one ever gave a damn about?

Why not say you're part of Generation Manimal. At least that wold sound cool.

"Generation X is tired of your sense of entitlement. Generation X also graduated during a recession. It had even shiattier jobs ... Generation X is used to being farked over."

Graduating high school maybe. Gen X was graduating college in the middle of the Tech Boom. They were being paid $125k/year because they knew rudimentary HTML.

I'm 29. Supposedly I'm at the beginning of the Millenials, but I hate this generation so much. My parents came right at the end of the Baby Boomers and they hate them so much too.

I can identify. I get all squicky if someone tries to call me a Millenial. What a bunch of entitled farkwads they are.

Shush, you. We aren't supposed to talk about that. Besides, what if you didn't have a couple of hours to learn rudimentary HTML? You were well and truly screwed then, weren't you?

I went from making $20,000 to making $130,000 in roughly fifteen minutes after I received a wrong number call from a recruiter looking for a database administrator named Chang. We got to talking, and I mentioned my mad rudimentary HTML skills, and *bang*, $110K raise. Before that call, I had no idea that HTML was even a marketable skill. Thanks, Chang, whomever you are.

In my entire life, there have been maybe two 4 or 5 year periods that seem to have been easy to graduate into- the late 80s, and the late 90s. Neither of which I was fortunate enough to hit. Maybe those weren't so easy, if you were 22 at the time. And as bad as the early 80s or early 90s or even now may have been, the worst time must have been the late 60s. Then, you didn't worry about getting a job; you worried about getting sent to Viet Nam. And in the 70s, you didn't worry so much about what you were going to do when you got out of college, because you probably weren't going to college anyway. Only about 25% of people did go. So you worried about what you would do when your factory job went overseas. The whole world was a pure shiathole in the 70s, but I don't remember my parents pining for the good old days, when everything was easy.
I don't know what that generation was that skated through life. I do know that sometime in the future, kids are going to be whining about how good the millenials had it, even if 20% of them or so didn't get what they wanted back in 2011.

Catalano was a douche. Ricky (the gay Latino kid) was ten times the man Catalano was.

Yep, it's strange to be born between to cultural eras. If only I had made the most of the late 90s & early 00's. Alas...
