I just noticed that the thermometer is gone. How long has that thing been out of work? Will it get a handout?

Oh noes, now how will we know if the source is biased or not!

iirc, you can still choose "liberal/commie/neutral" when you submit though.

Not sure. It's been a while since I submitted a politics link. Has that thing been gone since the redesign?

I guess Patrick Tribett could have finally found steady work painting signs for Cain's campaign.

Also, Conan did this last night

I think so. I had it adblocked for months before that, though. Most useless thing ever.

Yes, but it gave people something to biatch about when there were hum-drum stories that made the front page.

Wow, that is a lovely piece of '80s-esque pop cheese at the end of the Cain ad.

That's true. I guess it made it easy for Drew to respond to the probably thousands of emails complaining about how biased the politics tab is- he could just reply with a picture of the PITA for the last month. Basically like a red and blue middle finger.

I'm always amused by the right wing telling us we need to "unite," and stop "dividing americans." Right before they say we need to take our country back from the commies and gays.

1963 - Spotted in Dealey Plaza minutes before the President's motorcade passes by.

2011 - Herman Cain's campaign manager.

Coincidence? I think not.

it wasn't accurate at all anyways. people would submit things intentionally mislabeled and still get greenlights.

I always submitted with neutral, no matter how rankly partisan it was.

Herman Cain is trolling the Republicans but for some reason they haven't figured it out yet. Now it's two months to the primaries and he's still up in the polls and he's getting desperate to reveal the joke. But when your strategy involves Teabaggers getting a clue, you've already lost. Pretty soon he'll be killing babies and eating them on stage.

2011-10-26 10:20:18 AM
Cain using a song called "I am America" in a web ad as a Tea Party dog whistle without even a trace of irony pretty much put mocking this one at the top of Colbert's to-do list.

I so want him to get the nomination. Him or Perry.

He looks like he just farted mustard gas, all the exits are sealed, he alone is immune to its effects, and he's about to commence a corpse rape-a-thon.

Creepy.

If I thought there was any sense or reason behind Cain's campaign at all, I'd say that they were trying to evoke the Reagan era by making an ad in the style of an 80s tough-guy movie, complete with song that could have come off the Rocky IV soundtrack,

I wouldn't possibly give them that much credit though.

And where did anyone say "Herman Cain smoking is bad"? Or where did we start talking about Herman Cain smoking at all because he wasn't in the ad? What does any of this have to do with libtards?

When conservatives fark up, it's only because the most powerful empty suit in the universe made them do it.

You know that is a photoshop right?

Libtards use that photo for ironic purposes only. Conservatives think it has some type of actual significance of some kind.

For some reason, after Block plucks the cig out of his mouth and exhales toward the camera, I keep expecting him to say, "He'll put the 'United' back in 'United States of America.' I suggest you put on a tie!"

Hollie Maea: Herman Cain is trolling the Republicans but for some reason they haven't figured it out yet.

It's all about the money.
He's raking in millions of dollars to his "campaign fund" that he gets to keep after he doesn't get the nomination.
Even if he does get the nomination, his fund will get more money.
And if for some reason he gets elected, he gets more money AND power.
Its really a no-lose situation for Cain.

Could it be?

Seriously? I'm going to have to explain to someone why that commercial raises an eyebrow? Are there really people in this world that need to have the amazing weirdness of that commercial explained to them? Please tell me you're joking/trolling/whatever. Even if its a lie.
