Does Obama watch Reality TV or is it his speechwriters, and only Reality TV.

This comment, attacking Trump for the apprentice, his comments about the kardashians, his previous comments about Snooki before he didn't know who Snooki was.

/Would prefer Game of Thrones or Borgias references.

Asked about GOP criticism over his plan to withdraw troops from Iraq, Obama expressed frustration.

"It's shocking they opposed something I proposed," he said

Actually, they are opposing an agreement made by W with the Iraqis. Obama wanted to stay on with a reduced presence, but the Iraqis wouldn't grant immunity.

So imagine that Obama stayed on without the immunity, and the utter conniption fit the Republitards* would have had when a soldier was hauled before an Iraqi court.

Obama could have a very cheap teevee campaign by just replaying the utter insanity spoken by the GOP nom (whoever it turns out to be) at the debates.

*I generally try to avoid childish terms like this, but face it, every GOPer with a chance to get the nom is a fkn tard.

I think this is a misrepresentation of what actually happened. Former Defense Secretary Bill Gates:

But Gates rebuffed the idea (of keeping troops in Iraq past the deadline). He noted that the U.S. was leaving as required under a 2008 agreement negotiated by the Bush administration.

"This matter was settled for all practical purposes in 2008. This is not a surprise. We talked about different levels of residual force on the U.S. side," he said.

"And if they don't want us there on conditions that we cannot accept, then we will leave according to the agreements that were signed almost three years ago. It's sort of surprising to me that people are surprised at this outcome."

I don't think Obama would have been opposed to keeping some troops there, if the Iraqis requested it. But he certainly wasn't going to do it under their terms. I have been unable to find anything that actually says he wanted to keep them there.

I guess I just made the assumption, since they were apparently negotiating the idea of immunity, but I'll admit, I don't really know how these things work. Maybe negotiations like this are par for the course regardless of intentions - just in case things change, but the fact that it was being discussed led me to believe some residual force was at least being considered.

Which season is he specifically talking about? What's his viewpoint on Immunity Island and how that counts into his other political viewpoints on candidates? Is he looking to move the economy to the one on the island that barters instead of using real money? Is it also because their employment rate at the time of being on the island looks like where we are going as a nation?

Philip Francis Queeg: Newt's in the bushes getting a blowjob from one of the production interns.

"There's no question at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate," said Gingrich during an interview with CBN's David Brody. "What I can tell you is that when I did things that were wrong, I wasn't trapped in situation ethics, I was doing things that were wrong, and yet, I was doing them...." (new window)

amazing.

"I love America so much I wanted to fark it! And the only way I could express how badly I wanted to fark America, BECAUSE I farkING LOVE AMERICA, was by farking women who werent' my wife! I mean, yeah, I was farking a woman, but, symbolically, she was America. It was the only way I could express how much I loved America!"

"America, if you were a woman, I would fark you. That is how much I love you, America! My message to the American voters is simple: My name is Newt Gingrich, and I love America so much, I would fark it."

Obama isn't going to split hairs here. If the Republicans jump up and down about how Obama pulled the troops from Iraq for a few months, or until it becomes truth, he can then turn it on them. "I ended the war in Iraq" followed by a big trolly smile.

And yet the Republicans understand human beings better.
I mean, their methods of manipulation and lying to peoples' faces about incontrovertible truths right next to them are staggeringly effective.

They're insane and they are very publicly trying to destroy the United States. Yet they still secure 40% of the vote, if not more.
That takes some level of understanding, to say the least.

The Democrats have had perfect, campaign-destroying tidbits handed to them time and time again. Utilizing just a fraction of the marketing skill of the GOP, they could easily win a supermajority.

But, they don't. It's either willful defeat or they're just biologically programmed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Republicans today are stuck in the 1880's, if you read up on the 1950's they are much more open minded and overall population centered than the current Republicans. Ike was far to the left of Obama on many things.
