Actually, it probably was.... saw some that looked like that on "sale" last year (maybe 2 years ago) and they are not metal - pure plastic. Would have broken even if a 10 yr old did same thing.

I didn't buy one because I didn't think it would hold up to the winds we've been having the past few years - never even occurred to me some dork would try a stripping routine on it.

Due to rampant overuse, it now means the opposite of its original definition, like "bad" or "hipster."

I thought it was short for "Epicac".

When using that definition, the term is pretty accurate.
