With the exception of the ones who actually died (and even some of them ), I can't think of too many rock stars who would have benefited from getting off drugs/booze. They either get fat, creatively stunted or farked up by slipping in the shower.

The sad part was that the combination of the water, the tile, and his lips were a perfect storm of suction cupness. It took them several hours to pry his face from the tile surface.

/"cuppiness" is now a word.

Apperently they didn't need to.

40+ years in the industry. Steve is 64 and Joe is 62. The party master, Keith Richards is 69. I'm re-evaluating my lifestyle choices. Massive quantities of alcohol and drugs appear to have a preservative quality for some people.
