Strange subway women need love, but you should probably ask permission. Don't just surreptitiously lick her knee through her stockings after she trips over your backpack full of explosives. That's not cool.

GacysBasement: First off Jersey is among the lowest priced, if not the lowest priced gasoline in the country.

According to Gas Buddy (new window), Jersey is #10 by a hair... Alabama and Arkansas (#11 and 12) are very close, within a few tenths of a cent. I live in the lowest price state (yes, Missouri...), but right now the local stations are all at $3.11, nearly a dime below the reported state average (even below the STL area average of $3.19).

As for the mandatory full service in NJ, well, I don't know why they still bother with that. The only time pumping your own gas is actually a problem is when it's super farking cold outside. Even then it goes pretty quickly.

Oh my god! Next they will tell us that bacteria and yeast are just FLOATING AROUND IN THE AIR!

GacysBasement: People from neighboring states (Delaware, Pennsylvania) even make a point to get gas here so as not to have to pump it themselves and it is cheaper than there.

I think there's only a few gas stations around here that have full service. Not many, and their prices are usually a shade more expensive. Not much though. Seems like the areas that allow self service have pretty well eliminated the full service stations. Just not much demand. I'd think if full service was in much demand it would be in more places.

Do you tip the guy filling up your car? It's neither here nor there, but I've wondered that.

Personally, I just don't like the idea of some random gas station guy dinking around with my car... those fuel doors can be fragile.

Oddly enough, you shouldn't be licking Subby's mom for the same reason you shouldn't be licking cold metal poles, not for the same reason you shouldn't be licking pump handles.
