Going out to smoke right now. Depressed that it's my last one and I have to go to the store for more.
So, smoking right now, depresses me.

Chicken is to depression as egg is to smoking. Question is, will eggs or smoking kill you first.

Secondhand smoking is linked to second hand coolness: In these photos provided by the Tobacco Institute, an average-looking nobody (inset) becomes a really cool guy, simply by sitting near a smoker.

Look at Rapmaster2000 over there. I bet he makes right turns on red without coming to a complete stop. He's the kind of guy you can't take home to mom. Although your stepmom would love him. She has a thing for bad boys. Like that new pool guy dad hired. Those tires on his Tacoma can't be street legal. A real rebel. Just like that Rapmaster2000.

Quit a few years ago, chest pains are gone, able to exercise longer, saving money etc.
That all said, if I find out I only have 6 months left to live, first thing I will do after leaving the doctors office is buy a carton of Marlboros.
Farking tough drug to quit.

I'm smoking because I'm drinking beer and those are the only two things that make me less inclined to quit paying for the roof over you ungrateful bastards heads and jump in my car and head somewhere that I can find work under the table and a cheap apartment but at least I have some freedom. FREEDOM GODDAMMIT!

Just kidding. I bring you love.

What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?

Oh, and the egg came first, because every chicken was once an egg, but the first egg/zygote/embryo/whatever that taxonomically qualifies as a chicken (meiosis x2 [one per parental gamete] including crossover x2, fertilization [including fusion into new embryo], creation of new species) did not come from one or more chickens; rather, it came from two parents that were not chickens.

Why is it that busy bodies, determined to control what I do in the name of "the greater good" are always farktards that drive $50K + cars, live in 1/2 million - 12 million or more houses, and abuse the environment in ways I can't even imagine.

I have no problem with making money.
I just have a huge problem with people making money getting all preachy. They have cooks, maids, expensive everything.

So there was a cow named Mable that used to love to go to the coast and watch the waves roll in. One day as she sat there admiring the beauty of a new day with a beautiful sun rising slowly, a small dolphin poked his head above the surf. Startled Mable asked, "what are you doing here?". The dolphin whose name was Franklin replied "I am lonely and am looking for a friend".

The rest kind of speaks for itself as you can see in the nice picture you stumbled upon.

Until thew sharks showed up that is...

I'm pretty sure that I smoke because I'm horribly depressed.

Otherwise, quitting the nicotine would make the depression better, right?

Been smoking for 14 years (32 y/o). 10/31/2011 will be my last day as a smoker. It will be hard, but mainly because I drink...I don't smoke during the work day, just while drinking.

It's time and I'm glad that everyone in my house is honestly ready to kick it too. None of us want to be a middle aged smoker, and less and less people out here are still smokers. In fact, stepping back inside the bar after a smoke makes me feel pretty self conscious because I know I smell horribly.

The thing is...it doesn't get me high, I really don't enjoy it (it's not a pleasurable activity despite what some claim), and it's bad for every aspect of my life. There are a f*ck ton of positives about quitting. Starting with $30 into savings every monday morning.
