"he was spotted outside a convenience store he'd been trespassed from in July"

Is that sentence written in Flornglish or is that a proper use of the word "trespassed"?

I've never intentionally tried to flood a toilet, but on several occasions I have accidentally done so.

Once I had to use a plunger to break up a large piece so it would flush down the drain.

Hopefully the judge will give this rocket scientist 250 hours of community service- as a custodian at a lockup, cleaning and mopping the cells. Make the punishment fit the crime,

tres·pass /ˈtrɛspəs, -pæs/ Show Spelled[tres-puhs, -pas] Show IPAnoun 1.Law. a.an unlawful act causing injury to the person, property, or rights of another, committed with forceor violence, actual or implied.
b.a wrongful entry upon the lands of another.
c.the action to recover damages for such an injury.
2.an encroachment or intrusion.
3.an offense, sin, or wrong.
verb (used without object)
4.Law. to commit a trespass.
5.to encroach on a person's privacy, time, etc.; infringe (usually followed by onor upon).
6.to commit a transgression or offense; transgress; offend; sin.

There's nothing in the definition about removing or banning a person. It sounds like the cop made up the usage unless it's a more obscure legalese.

I have read and heard the word used in this way many times. It's another corruption of the language that has propagated due to uneducated people.

Well, *maybe* 1 c from your quoted definition, but I'm gonna called it Flornglish.

I went to jail for a little less than a day a few years ago. There was nothing on the walls in the drunk tank, and the only thing on the walls in the big room after processing were a payphone and a TV. I vaguely remember pissing on the floor in the corner while singing Workin On The Railroad in my attempt to stick it to the cops who put me in there whilst in the tank. Probably would've tried to mess with stuff on the wall if it was there in my belligerence. But in the bigger room, with communal items, an inmate vandalizing something would probably result in forcible restraint/trip to the infirmary.

/moderately humorous recollection, bro

it sure doesn't look proper to me. OTOH This is known as being "trespassed from Wal-Mart".

that however is a blog thing so ...... note that this is creeping into the language However more people use it the innocorect way: "Are you versing him later?" Let me just tell you all that THIS IS NOT A WORD. Its not even slang! Its just stupid! the quote is from urban dictionary and i agree 100%, versing is stupid. as is "trespassed from".

I tried to run up the PD water bill for 5 minutes when I was busted for underage (drinking) in '97 so I'm getting a kick.

/mostly i was impressed how a little harassment to the bum on the steel cot gets you a cell of your own
