Indeed. When I worked at a rental car company.. the Aveo was well understood to be the lamest piece of junk on the lot..

God Damnit So Much!! That Was Not A Flying Car.

As someone who recently got stuck in an Aveo from Enterprise; I wish the shoot wouldn't have opened. The thing had manual windows & locks, no cruise, handled like a shopping cart and accelerated like a run-down electric golf cart. Not to mention it made you feel like fodder for the SUVs and trucks on the road with it's paper thin cabin walls.

The Ford Fiesta is a much better car in that class--I rented an SEL version once and it was fun to drive and has the same v4 engine as the Focus/Fusion (good, fast). It has nice amenities inside too.
