It's kind of obvious there isn't a "rogue shark with a taste for human flesh". Otherwise we wouldn't have heard back from the victims, because the shark would have eaten them.

As Peter Benchley wrote in one of his books about how to protect sharks, and I am paraphrasing: Only an idiot would enter a jungle with sun tan lotion and a towel, so why do we enter a shark's habitat so poorly prepared for one of the greatest predators on earth?

I like Fark headlines like this. It could have gone for the tiresome "your mom" joke. Or it could have outright suggested someone is as fat as a whale. Either of these would have almost guaranteed a greenlight. But it was subtle.

I'm not a fan of the beach, so I'm not going. The greatest protection against a shark is to stay away from the ocean.

the chances that these bozos got the exact shark...it's a hundred to one...a hundred to one. Now I'm not saying that this is not the shark.
