Sadly, all of this could have been avoided. It saddens this team to see a dedicated patriot - a person so desperately needed in the White House - sequestered behind a wall of pretense, guarded by political operatives consumed by their own egos.

Somehow, I suspect that Bachmann is pretentious and ego driven herself, too. Call it a hunch.

members of Team-NH remained committed to Congressman Bachmann, often at peril to their own personal and professional reputations within New Hampshire.

I would hope that anyone who supports Bachmann risks damaging their personal and professional reputations.

Too true. The fact they didn't realize this until recently makes me think the whole lot of them are a bit "off."

If you come to the realization that supporting a certain candidate is possibly harmful to your personal and professional reputation, you my want to re-examine that candidate

Dear Team New Hampshire,

While is can be lots of fun working for a complete lunatic, do keep in mind that Ms. Bachmann's eccentric and capricious nature will most likely lead to you being angered at some point. Moreover, if you are worried about your personal reputations in your communities, Ms. Bachmann kindly suggests that you put a brown paper Freedom Sack over your heads when going door to door.

Sincerely,
A Dedicated Patriot

I think it's less the fact that the National Team was cruel and more to do with the Michelle Bachmann having not paid the New Hampshire staffers their paychecks in a while.

She's still a candidate? I thought she dropped out once that black man stole her crazy thunder.

And then the statement from some rep on the the national team, upon hearing of the NH team's mass exodus, that it couldn't be true because they didn't even have a team in NH. I'm sure that made the NH staffers feel really special.

Political candidates run out on their bills all the time. There was even a story abound here recently about Bill Clinton still owing campaign debts. Any staffer that willingly forgoes a paycheck and expects to be repaid letter is an idiot.

People have been murmuring as much. She's afraid of people. She doesn't do the mingle and handshake thing other candidates do.

"So, it says here on your resume that you worked for Republican candidates every year except 2011 -- where it says you worked in 'alternative entertainment?'"

"Yeah, I spent that year doing really hard German gay scat porn movies. Every day I was made airtight by Hermann Goering look-a-likes only broken up by hundreds of angry East Germans blasting out last night's wienerschnitzel and bratwurst all over me to the tune of an oompah band doing bad David Hasselhoff covers."

"WHAT? Are you serious?"

"No, I actually worked for Michele Bachmann, but man, try putting THAT on a resume."

Well, if you had survived a terrify incident like this one, you'd be afraid too.

Senator Bachmann retired to the restroom and residents began moving toward the exit. Less than a moment later, piercing screams were heard from the ladies' washroom. "Help!!!! HEEEELLLLLLPPPPPP!!!!!" With everyone's attention riveted on the door, Senator Bachmann emerged in a crouching run, crying, "I was being held against my will!" Two women were seen standing behind her, one tall and elderly, the other young and petite, both unassuming and bewildered. (new window)

You mean to tell me a republican candidate for national office was only using the New Hampshire workers for political gain, was dismissive of their concerns and only wanted them to follow national campaign orders, even asked them to work for free while the national team kept getting paid? That the extent of their caring about NH was over the (gasp!) primary??

Shocked I tells ya! Shocked!

Bachmann is done. So are Santorum, Cain, Huntsman and Paul. They are running zombie campaigns to present the illusion of competitiveness, because the GOP decided to FUBAR their chances at the White House by having all the candidates announce and begin running 13 months too early. It's going to come down to Tea Party favorite Gov. Perry vs. moderate Romney. Mitt Romney will win the nomination too, because GOP primaries are winner-take-all races, and Romney will court more independents in both the primary and the general elections. Then he will lose to Obama.

Book it. Done.

My hope is that this failed Presidential run somehow puts her Congressional seat in danger. It's a long shot considering she has the very conservative St. Cloud area in her district, but perhaps this has been embarrassing enough that the people living there are willing to give someone else a go.

Not likely. If they are that conservative, they'll just victimize her and say it was the liberal media attacking her like the good Rush Limbaugh foot soldiers we know they are.

Note to voters: desperately needed in the White House, a person sequestered behind a wall of pretense, guarded by political operatives consumed by their own egos. Yes! And a tailor-made prescription, at that.

Meanwhile, backdoor Bachmann telegraphing her old man, they' not the only ones with mixed emo--o--tions ...

Willard "I can't have illegals, I'm running for President for Pete's sake" Romney ensured moderates during the last debate that he isn't presidential material.

No, he didn't. It is a two-way race for the tea tard vote. Cain has a higher rate of retard statements as of late, so Perry could resurge once Cain is thoroughly excoriated some more. Some dumbass has to get this percentage of retards because Romney isn't budging.

Not with his debate performance. Every time Perry opens his mouth he says something that even teabaggers think is retarded rambling. It doesn't help that he keeps swinging at Romney, who keeps pointing out that Perry was a Democrat who worked on Al Gore's campaign. Perry's had all of his major platforms pulled out from under him and hasn't managed a single positive thing since the campaign started.

Unless you count youtube videos of "was he before the...no, for the social security before he was for the social security?"

Actually I've heard that there is much dissatisfaction with her in her district. To the point that rumors are beginning to start of a potential primary challenge (R, of course). I find this very interesting. There has to to a limit to the derp as well, even with her district.

I very much believe that's here he's headed. To paraphrase 300, she's a brawler, not a warrior. She is losing the fight so she's flailing wildly hoping something connects.

She has no discipline. Her statements keep getting crazier and crazier which I think it's awesome.

I think she's headed for a public meltdown so embarrassing that even her nimrod constituents can't justify voting for her any longer. People this archaic and out of touch have no business makin decisions that influence our lives.
