The restaurant threw out: three hamburgers, four chicken sandwiches, two chicken Caesar salads, three filet steaks, four beef kabobs, three cowboy steaks, four orders of scallops, two lobster tails, two lamb chops, three veal chops, two orders of calamari, two orders of shrimp scampi, cheese, an order of lobster macaroni and cheese, one salmon steak, an order of Bang Bang shrimp, and various soups and sauces.

Did they really need to print the name and quantity of every item that was thrown out?

The food was sprayed with retardant, but the diners (if they were sprayed with anything at all) would've been hit by water. nasty stagnant water.

Came here to say this.

On the other hand, I can see why the restaurant would detail the list to a reporter: free menu advertising.

I initially read this as "fried water", which made the headline all the more interesting.

Way to make sure you won't ever be hired for another serving job in NYC, Eddy!

I wonder why he was fired in the first place

Jake Havechek: Not the Bang Bang shrimp!
Never been to this place, but the Bang Bang shrimp at Bonefish is awesome, and most of the time the seared tuna is good too. They aren't in my area, so I usually only go there when I visit the home office in Cincinnati.

Lobster macaroni and cheese.
Day-um.

That waiter will be receiving a strongly worded letter from my attorney.

The word you referenced has nothing to do with a certain race of humans. It's been around since the 14th century and just means stingy. It should not be considered as offensive. And yet it is.

FTFA - Police arrested Eddy at the address he placed on his restaurant employment application.

Good. He was pissed at the guy for firing him, but he inconvenienced and even hurt people who had nothing to do with his leaving. Grown man acting like a two-year-old having a tantrum needs a night in the pokey just for being a d-bag.

/And yes, I know "pokey" can have more than one meaning;

We find it's always better to fire people on a Friday. Studies have statistically shown that there's less chance of an incident if you do it at the end of the week.

Is that because you can't spell nubianrdly, or because they filter the N-word and misspellings of it?

I see. They filter misspellings of it, too. I wish they did this for commonly misspelled words, it'd make me cringe less when reading Fark. But then again, I wouldn't be as entertained.

Um this seems excessive for a false alarm, usually they just ticket you and you have to pay a fine, I don't think it was necessary to actually arrest him.

farkinjerk: I see. They filter misspellings of it, too. I wish they did this for commonly misspelled words, it'd make me cringe less when reading Fark. But then again, I wouldn't be as entertained.

They have different filters for different spellings of it. For example, using the regular spelling of the n-word still gets you "attractive and successful African-American."

I never really get the mixing lobster with other things. It marginally improves the other things, and then the lobster is buried and does not taste as good.

I will take one cowboy steak please.

Vandalism of $700 - $1000?
So it would be OK to not arrest someone who smashed $700 - $1000 of plates in a store?

Most false alarms are just noise and an uneeded visit from the fire brigade. You can be back inside in a few minutes. This one actually caused real damage.
