I question the "well-planned" part. He's seriously bad at talking off-the-cuff, and you can tell when he doesn't want to answer something because at least one or two of his sentences will make absolutely no sense whatsoever. I agree that he's catering to them, but he didn't say "I don't think the birth certificate is real", like the article and headline say, he just skipped around answering whether he does or not.

And here we are, the era of celebutard politics in the greatest nation on Earth, rapidly becoming The Greatest Show On Earth with P.T. Barnum's correlary.

No matter how stupid an idea it's worth another 15 minutes of airtime, no matter how divisive and unamerican a concept, you can re-label it as "what real 'merrikans" believe, and to some extent you'd be right.

You can wrap anti-intellectuallism up in a flag, call sedition patriotism, and just basically say anything that voted well on the Fox Nation boards and see how well it polls.
