blacksun: "water-saturated ice"

Im not sure exactly what that means

It means that there is ice (solid water) which has been disturbed in such a way to allow liquid water to penetrate it.

sidads.colorado.edu

For example, compare:

sidads.colorado.edu

But hey, what's 300,000 sq km of ice between friends?
