You know, if they were available for purchase and not absurdly expensive, I would probably buy them. And wear them to work. And probably end up getting my own rule in the dress code (currently our dress code says that we can't wear sneakers or flip flops, and no shirts with logos or similar decorations, but says nothing about dress shoes with logos/video game characters; I suspect that this would not stop them from taking issue with these shoes :( )
