Oh dear god, these girls are boring already. Fortunately most of them will grow out of promoting their cause.
Sophmore psychology students have some great ideas but the only people interested are their peers, and of course the boys that feign interest to get into their pants.

"It was a writing assignment that we had to do for our Women's Studies class, and it was about a 24-hour truce and what Andrea Dworkin wanted from men," said Lindsay Harper, a sophomore psychology student. "She wanted to express the things men aren't happy with and the stereotypical things that men do and men in general, and she was just explaining how we felt and what we wanted to see changed."

Well there's your problem.

If you want equality, don't take advice from uglies who despise men and sex (I wonder why).

Harper said she wants the list to raise awareness of issues that happen but are never addressed.

so I went to the article. I read the article. and my first thought is: WTF is wrong with these retards? none of the sentences made any sense.

she want the list.
ok, I give up, WHAT LIST?
there was no list.

the class is working on a list as part of a project? um, get back to use when you have a list??

this maybe be the dumbest article on fark. (nah, who are we kidding)

It doesnt despise sex. It just thinks that all men are rapists (this is true what she thinks).
She has stated that ALL heterosexual sex is rape.
um no
no it isnt

just because you were a WHORE and had a bad time at it doesnt change reality.

Feminism started out as a long overdue idea that achieved most of it's stated goals rather quickly. Now it's an industry and a posture of codified, endless annoyance, caustic rhetoric and dime store misandry. You know. Sexism. And that's lame. Your lever has become a crutch. And a rather crooked and tatty one.

What we need is some men's studies courses, so the few guys left on campus can go somewhere to feel safe and get some nurturing.

Women are the victims in the USA:

1)They are the majority of the population
2)They live longer
3)They have lower car insurance
4)They are the majority in medical school
5)They cannot be drafted
6)They do not have to register for the draft to get government financial aid for college
7)They are the majority in every college major with the exception of engineering
8)They are the majority in college
9)They have a higher employment rate
10)Are the minority of the prison population

And the best one on the list that men strive to get:

11) Have a pussy

(not my list)

Once again, this is an article in a student newspaper about a project a group of women's studies students are doing specifically for Domestic Violence Awareness month. And it's from a freaking 101 class, it's not going to be groundbreaking, or even an accurate reflection of feminist thought.

Interesting. I've been saying for a while the modern feminism movement has moved beyond equality and is now attempting to impose an opposite of the old order because that will somehow make everything better, but that shows that nicely.

Women: equality means you have to stop when you actually reach equality.

2011-10-22 05:19:56 PM
Diener said this assignment is in context with other assignments where students write down their biggest fears, and amazingly they always include sexual assault and violence.

Women in women's studies classes tend to worry about rape a lot?

And this is "amazing" to anyone?

Oooooookay then.

Matt Groening paraphrase from LIH:

Man: I think the problem with men and women are that all men ares stupid and all women are crazy.

Woman: That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life! Why would you even say something that stupid?!

Man: Well you don't hafta get all crazy over it. It's just a theory.

*grumbles to self*

Still think I was onto something there.

I'm sorry, what language was that in? The words all seemed to be English, but they were strung together in novel ways, with nouns used as verbs and verbs used as adjectives. You may find jargon useful to communicate shared concepts with other members of your clique, but if the goal is to convince those outside your milieu (like, say, men) of the validity of your ideas, I suggest sticking to standard English.

No, it was a terrible article. Probably written by a freshman staff writer who didn't know what to cover and got sent to cover the writing project of the Women's Studies 101 class.

And yet there are always going to be people that love taking anything about feminism and going "biatches. Why on earth are they still complaining? After all, we let them vote and have jobs now."

There is a contract inherent in the mating process. It will never go away. It's in our biology. So far, wiping our collective asses with it hasn't made anybody either empowered or happy. Deconstruction seldom denotes progress.

The baby boys being circumcised are the ones making the decision about what happens to their penis?

2011-10-22 05:40:45 PM
GAT_00: So you've forgotten the bans on circumcision?

That's not a ban on what you can do with your own penis. That's a ban on what someone else can decide to do to your penis before you're old enough to consent to it.

And I'm pretty sure that it wasn't passed by a group that was mostly women with a few token guys, but I could be wrong. I'm also pretty sure it isn't going nationwide anytime soon.
