I still have residual anger (not really) towards Fat Phil for having his players use illegal length spikes in the 1996 Citrus Bowl that was in some pretty shiatty weather. Athletic Director Doug Dickey wrote a letter of apology but my buddy who is a Vols fan refuses to apologize for it. I told him Tennessee's woes can be laid at his feet over his refusal to apologize and that I shall not lift the curse until he does so. He has been pretty steady so far, we'll see what a few more years will do to his resolve.
