I think I'll drive to the zoo, climb 3 fences and slap a tiger with my shoe until he bites me. I can then sue the zoo, the tiger, the fence company, nike, and Toyota.

FTFA: "It proved I didn't put myself in harms' way," Fred Breeding said.

FTFA: At the enticement of the bull riding's announcer, Fred Breeding paid $10 to enter the arena for the "ring of fire." A cash prize was promised to the last person remaining in the arena with the bull.

"It proved I didn't put myself in harms' way," Fred Breeding said.

Fred was standing in the arena, looking the other way, when a full-sized bucking bull entered the arena, according to Naomi Breeding.

"It proved I didn't put myself in harms' way," Fred Breeding said.

My eyes kept going back to that last line. WTF. What part of "last man standing in the arena with the bull" did he not understand? Yes, in a commercial enterprise there is always negligence when an injury happens, which is why there is liability insurance. Hell, just traveling on a motorcycle puts one in harm's way. Two wheels are inherently more dangerous than four, and that is inherently more dangerous than commercial flying. And then he enters an arena with a bull for a prize to be awarded to the last person standing.

Take all the risk you want, just be aware that every time you leave your house you are subject to random drive-bys, impaired drivers and so on, and even at home you are at risk for random drive bys, slips and falls, ect. People put themselves in harm's way by getting up in the morning rather than quietly expiring in their beds. You, sir, drove a motorcycle cross country to Sturgis with little biking experience and then with no rodeo experience entered an ironman contest with a bull.

Sue, get your $100K, your life will suck from here on out and you should have something. But be honest about the risks you took.

"I was expecting a little bull like the girls were riding," Fred Breeding said.

he is 100% right. guys going to sturgis want to see topless women riding little bulls and after that these same guys want to see male tourists walking around the arena near the same little bulls.
/not
just because you have a motorhome, motorcycles, and are a yacht cabin doesn't excuse you from paying attention and knowing what to expect.
