Oklahoma State Cowboys, maybe.

And explains why they are 2-3... if his mind was actually, you know, on *catching* the ball first, and worrying about yards-after-the-catch later, instead of on his latest trash-talking points and attention-whoring...

Full disclosure: I've disliked the Cowboys since I was a little kid. It was petty at first, they beat my Patriots on Thanksgiving some time in the mid-80's. Then I moved to NM and was barraged with Cowboy shiat and Cowboy fans. And not the good fans, you know, the ones that grew up in the area, and their dad took them to a game or whatever. No, we're talking about living in NM during the height of the Jimmy Johnson, Barry Switzer era.

Anyway, yeah I forgot my point.

They could be 5-0 right now. They could also be 0-5. It's really hard to get a sense of how good or bad they actually are.

Unbeatable huh? Tell that to the Jets, Lions, and Patriots.

Further proof that the NFL doesn't take drug testing seriously.

Unbeatable, eh? Someone hasn't been paying attention this year.

I didn't know until now that Dez Bryant had Aphasia. His lips say Cowboys but his brain hear Packers.

Bad enough to lose 3 out of 5 games. That's the only real way to rank teams- how often do they win?

Could be on to something. The Cowboys are the only ones who have beat the Cowboys this year.

Pretty much.

I'm so farked, I hate the fans and love the team. I'm such a farking homer that I am COMFORTABLE with our playoff chances. No, I AM Dez Bryant!

Good teams, don't typically give games away.

I think they have a chance at the playoffs. They just need to stop making mental mistakes.

Remember that one year where that 7-1 team went 9-7? Yeah, this is not like that.

the Niners have a bye week, and they'll still have a better game than the Cowboys.

Everybody has game in San Francisco. Even men have a shot of hooking up with other men there. OTHER MEN!

Look. The Niners are playing awesome and that's great and all, but I don't really think Niners fans are in a position to make fun of the only team that's beaten them this year.

/Niners fan.

5-1 compared to 2-3. Lost in overtime to the Cowboys after blowing a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter. That was week 2, when the 49ers had 6 weeks or so to install an entire new offense, defense, and special teams with a head coach that has never even been a coordinator at the NFL level. 3-0 while playing 3 games in the eastern time zone at 10 am starts (they had won 2 of those games in the last 6 years combined) The 49ers have the strongest strength of schedule out of any team 5-1 or 6-0. Yeah, I'd say they are in a position to make fun of the Cowboys. As a 49ers fan.

Although I won't, the way the Cowboys season has gone and the way the NFC East is playing, there is a good shot for the Cowboys to make the playoffs. Not great, it really depends on the division games upcoming, but they have a good shot. They beat a good 49ers team and have lost to some good teams as well, their season is the most promising out of all 2-3 teams or even 3-3 teams I think.

Win maybe but are they good enough to cover the 12.5 they're giving to St. Louis?

relaxitsjustme: Win maybe but are they good enough to cover the 12.5 they're giving to St. Louis?

Being a 49ers fan forever has proven this to me. You can never take that big of a spread over a shiat team. The Packers only scored 24 points on the Rams. I'd look for it to be a closer game.

Mike Greenberg said it best: The Cowboys are 5 and 0 against the rest of the league, 2 and 3 against themselves.

2011-10-23 08:56:52 AM
What? Was he only able to handle playing one quarter in the Big 12? Because I have yet to see Dez Bryant play in the second half of a football game. He needs to spend less time at the House of Blues in Dallas and more time in the gym. Tashard Choice needs to spend a little more time concentrating on football too.

Man fark that, they're 2-3 against the rest of the league. The ":beating themselves" argument is delusional dipshiat rationale from a dumbass fanbase.

This.

Could the team have played better and built up a better record? Possibly. But that's an alternate universe that we do not live in. In our universe, they're a 2-3 team.

Yep. People love to blame wade phillips but how come I still see the same dipshiat and utterly maddening play calling from when Wade was here. Because we promoted the same moron who was running the offense from last year.
