And this , Ladies and Gentlemen, is exactly why America is farked up.

Bwhahahahahh. Another family values conservative reportin' the news for Fox. Oh yes sir, tons of respectability from that network. And he's got that annoying accent. It's not the high class carolina accent, the low class accent, or the ghetto accent, its that...pretending to have more affluence and intelligence accent. Heh, it'll go over great.

Does Faux News even pretend to be legit anymore? Harp on family values and hire Sanford......harp on economic conservatism and incessantly talk about big business needs.....endlessly push 'small government' and push for govt intervention in social issues.

Fox-pocracy may need to be a new tag as we move into this election year.

Not everyone has the chops to be a doctor or lawyer lobbyist.

The world needs ditch diggers Fox News analysts too.

Part of an email from sanford to his mistress (leaked by his campaign or wife):

Two, mutual feelings .... You have a particular grace and calm that I adore. You have a level of sophistication that so fitting with your beauty. I could digress and say that you have the ability to give magnificent gentle kisses, or that I love your tan lines or that I love the curve of your hips, the erotic beauty of you holding yourself (or two magnificent parts of yourself) in the faded glow of the night's light - but hey, that would be going into sexual details ...

The scandal was the least of his problems. Like his vendetta against satellite campuses; he claimed that forcing people to move half way across the state, have more people to compete against and higher costs of living would somehow be beneficial to the education level of SC residents?

People would not have been so hard on him if he had not been a member of the Party of Hypocrites.

Had an argument with a teahadist coworker a few days ago. He had visited a college who had Ollie North as a guest speaker. I expressed disdain about how anyone could take that traitor seriously, and actually pay to listen to him. Teahadist attacked me (verbally) for saying that, saying I couldn't possibly understand what a true hero he actually is, allegations of being a traitor were a liberal plot to destroy a mans good name, and that Fox News would never pay someone to be on their network if they weren't a hundred times more patriotic and just than every single Democrat in the country.

... you can't fix stupid.

Thank you for clarifying, and be careful - cavemen often do resort to physical violence when their grunts are refuted.

This should shut up all the "Fox News is biased!" people out there. They're hiring a Democrat now, after all.

CSB:

I watched the first day of North's testimony in the day room of A co, 25th Signal Battalion at Ft Bragg, NC.

Our 1SG had just come from NSA (doing what I have NO idea), and gave us this timeless quote when they showed North taking the oath:

'What the fark is he doing in uniform? Asshole.'.

Apparently one of the very first things they tell active duty military when they go to work there is that if they go before Congress about NSA happenings, to do it in civilian clothes.

It's a good thing William Casey had the good grace to die before that thing got rolling so they could pin it on him.

Fail. MSNBC maybe. At least their people infrequently lie to viewers unlike Fox.
But CNN? Up until recently when they started hiring dickheads from the RIGHT like Dana Loesch and Erik Erickson, they were even keel and had 1 editorial per day that was either conservative (Dobbs) or liberal (Spitzer). So, you could say you are partially correct but for entirely the wrong reason.

But not in the same numbers. If a conservative politician makes enough of a public disgrace of themselves (like, for instance, running off to Argentina for one's mistress) then of COURSE the Family Values station Fox News will accept them lovingly into the fold.

/sanctity of marriage must be upheld, after all.

Dear Republicans,

I was with you in laughing at/chastising CNN for putting Elliot Spitzer on TV. Your turn.

Best wishes,

Meh, a lot of people give her grief but I became a fan when she shut up that heckler live during CNN's New Years Eve broadcast with the classic ""I don't go to your job and knock the dicks out of your mouth..." retort.

On Topic? FOX hires another failed GOPher to fill time on their 24/7 Republican propaganda network? Not getting the part where this is "news" of any kind.

/Welcometofark.jpg goes where?

If you can imagine a hypothetical where liberals act worse, then you never have to examine what you actually do.

"If some sicko shot Erick Erickson on the way to CNN studios, some lib on Daily KOS would probably say nothing of value was lost. Therefore none of you can judge hiring Mark Sanford. Furthermore I will not take any of you seriously unless you repudiate the appalling lack of civility I just made up."

Elliot Spitzer fits the bill pretty closely.

MSNBC, I'm not so sure about.

Does CNN have a lot of commentors who scream about family values the way Fox News does?

2011-10-22 06:44:44 PM
WTF does "family values" even mean? The denial of "different" people to legally celebrate their love?

I've said elsewhere that that my "family values" are ones of inclusion and the idea of letting people live as they see fit. This is what actual Freedomtm and Libertytm looks like. And yet I'm always being shouted down by some patriot claiming that small government needs to define how individual Americans are allowed to live. These are the values I would like my (hypothetical) children to share with me. Love is blind. The heart wants what it wants. So why do I have to listen to some 12-cylinder hypocrite explain what real family values are?

Is it spending tax dollars on infidelity? Yes, I know that Democrats have also been caught spending public funds on their side-b*tches. You know what? They're also assholes. But the single mitigating factor here is that they're not brow-beating me with morality lessons, and instead prefer to discuss real policy. I know that conservatives keep calling me a hypocrite for defending libs' equal running afoul of fidelity, but for some reason they can't see the point I'm trying to make: You both suck, but one you isn't a raging hypocrite.

I will forgive most slip-ups as long as you aren't also calling me a hedon for not subscribing to some outmoded notion of "values." Had Sanford been a pre-Reagan Republican I wouldn't have given two sharts about his personal life. But he is a modern GOP dickwidget who pimped "values" as a means to get elected.

So fark him.

I was referencing CNN hiring Eliot Spitzer. And he was on MSNBC pretty much every day before that occurred.

I'm surprised he hasn't been called a RINO for cheating on his wife with a woman.
