I imagine this will be useful for solving very tiny Rubik's Cubes.

Look, you mewling vermin, for the last time it's "Lego" for both singular and plural.

I hate these kind of pie in the sky stories.

Tell me not what's POSSIBLE, but what's AVAILABLE! Like the guy who sold bio-light squirt guns. That's cool.

Do some reading on GFP (green fluorescent protein). Some fascinating imaging stuff that will have a big impact on genetic study going forward.

Also leads to awesome glow in the dark animals (assuming said dark is blacklight)

You missed the point!

I don't care about the potential for advancement, only the advances themselves. I don't wanna sit here and wait for 20 years until something I don't care about has an impact on a field I'll never be in.

I'd much rather read about shiat we have up and working (and available to play with) today.

Ah, but this is an article in a science magazine. some of its readers may very well be able to play with it already.

Also, the blocks are just that, LEGO blocks. LEGO is the product.

Anyone who has ever been so misfortunate as to step on an electric plug while walking barefoot has learned to brush off any anxiety about stepping on anything else, whether it is lego, broken glass or spikes.

It's a level of crippling pain unlike anything else in this world. Don't ever do it.

Having stepped on both of those barefoot at some point, I can safely say the lego is worse.

They're like caltrops for kids.
