See, that's one thing I give Letterman credit for. He keeps his private life private, because he knows that we really don't care. But you can be sure that had the media found out about his wedding, there would have been all kinds of stupid silly stories about what kind of cake, etc.

Kudos to you, Mr. Letterman, for realizing that you're first and foremost an entertainer, and what you do when you're not on the job is of real little interest.

Letterman has class - he gave Zevon the entire show (class move), gave a terribly sincere on air salute to the Drs. who saved his life - a very touching moment, and has otherwise grown and matured with great character. I'm sure he'll make a great dad to some lucky kid. Good for him.... We should all hope to learn and grow from our life experiences like Dave has - SALUTE!!
