KFC headquarters doesn't stand by the employee's decision, though. "In hindsight, of course, we would have reserved a table for him," explained a spokesperson. "It's not every day you get a Hollywood star eating in your restaurant."

Well then fark you, "KFC headquarters". Travolta still isn't going to fark you. Unless, how much do you have on you? There's an e-meter right here....

Whar is Dumbass tag?

2011-10-20 10:49:32 PM
Right. Some douche phones up and claims to be John Travolta, and wants you to reserve a table for him. At a KFC? The employee probably thought it was a prank call.

Did you know that, in France, a bucket of Extra Crispy isn't called a bucket of Extra Crispy?

Riiiiiight. Because there were no KFCs around when Travolta was growing up before he had money.

2011-10-20 11:01:05 PM
Why not just send a minion out to pick it up for him? Or better yet, hire a Southern woman to make real, damn good fried chicken?

2011-10-20 11:03:51 PM
He had nothing the worry about, the whites only section is always empty.

Travolta is a fried chickenhawk, from what I hear.

2011-10-20 11:13:18 PM
he built a rather nice Scientology center here in Ocala and staffed it with hotties.

He hangs out at Dennys and tries to score redneck rough trade though.

It's a good thing he wasn't in France, since France hates Scientology.

Eees ok....You still earned a +1 for the Pulp Fiction references.

2011-10-20 11:21:59 PM
if Travolta wanted to dine there, he would have to wait on line like a civilian.

How did this begin? Did someone in the New York area accidentally stumble over their words, and everyone has politely just gone with it ever since? Everyone in the outskirts seems to have more or less done their part about keeping it confined.

To be fair this was in England. Considering how much of their food is boiled I would imagine good fried food would be in quite high demand.

I've been to a KFC in the UK - I'm surprised they had tables.

/recommend Travolta bring armed guards as well.
//after 20 days in London - a bit of KFC chicken was really awesome

That he should know how a KFC works for us the unwashed masses?

I don't blame the employee at all. Travolta probably would expect to sign an autograph or two and then skip on the bill. Friggin mayonaisse on french fry loving bastard.

I thought the book was tremendous as well, except for the 100 or so pages dealing with architecture etc. after the Psyclos (sp?) got blowed up.

From the looks of him, I would say he knows how lunch works anywhere.

The big thing back in the NY day was Chicken Delight. They were huge and advertised like crazy. "Don't cook tonight. Call Chicken Delight." I would sing that jingle over and over until my parents gave in. I recall Kentucky Fried Chicken was around, sparsely, but not ubiquitous yet.

I don't really see what's wrong with John and his team here. They called early and asked if they could, then they were told they weren't.

Isn't it wrong if the star goes there and than demands a table cause of their status?

It's England though, it might be like that McDonalds in Japan/China(Asian country) that has 3 stories and like a hostess...could be major stuff :)

Travolta does understand though. He knows that if you have enough wealth and/or fame you get whatever you want. The snot-nosed kid spending his free-time at KFC didn't care, but he represented only himself; not the opinions of the huge, multi-national, corporation he was representing.

The official spokeman for the company had said, 'Hell yes, we would reserve a table for Mr. Travolta'.

If I go to a bar and I get some retard who can't make a rum and coke; it doesn't mean *I* don't understand how ordering a drink works. It means I got some retard who can't make a drink. Travolta got some retard who didn't know how to do his job.

Hello, you seem like a pretty reasonable and intelligent person, I would like to request a reservation from you. I represent a famous prince of Nigeria, and would like to reserve some money so he may escape the country. Now I assure you that I am indeed who I say I am. I will reserve this money by sending it directly to your account for safe keeping. Please provide me with the transfer information so my famous prince client can initiate the funds transfer. You know this is legitimate because I have assured you it is. Please continue with haste good sir.

Sincerely- John travolta. Like totally for reals.

Yep.

Also, I don't care who you are, how rich you are, or who you farked to get to where you are. Every customer gets equal respect and priority, at least until they start exhibiting douchebaggery.
