You need to know someone who is a biologist, chemist or someone who is sick a lot. Or someone into veterinary medicine, especially for horses. I had access to ether when I was doing biology labs in university; we were knocking out fruit flies for mutation experiments.

So true. I tried to find some raw ether for my "Fear and Loathing" suitcase for my Vegas bachelor party, and it seemed like everyone I talked to "knew a guy who knew a guy who had a friend", and pursuing those leads always turned out that it was some BS story they heard at a party this one time.

Finding RCs is harder. Well, you can buy them online from sketchy retailers, but the idea of drugs in the mail kinda puts me off. As does paying in bitcoins or having to wire the money. I mean, IRL drug dealers are sketchy too, but at least I can bring a gun and friends if need be. Thankfully, RCs are still usually in the domain of college students, and made by the good ol' chemistry majors. My guess is she met someone who thought she was a narc that person gave her the cop's number to get rid of her. Either that or one of those situations where she took down the number one digit off, and the person who gave her the number either way was like; "keep calling if they don't answer at first. The APAP is there as a pseudo-denaturant, so that if you try to get high, you will die. A good analogy is someone putting a shiat-ton of cash on their property, in plain sight, so that when some eventually trespasses, they can shoot them with a .50 cal automatic.

However, you can do a simple cold-water extraction and get rid of almost all of the APAP. Much like DRM, there's a way around every anti-abuse method. If there was a widely available product that mixed cocaine with arsenic, you'd have 25 guides on the internet that used 7 different ways to extract USP grade cocaine in 5 hours after release. It more or less relies on the drug user being too lazy, or not having the resources to extract.
