Christ, Nigel, shut your piehole. You've damn near done the impossible: you've made yourselves even more unlikeable than Man U.

fark you De Jong for taking out Hatem Ben Arfa for a year. The fact that you are not banned from football altogether is just disgusting. Such a scum bag tackler.

How was that not a red? Howard Webb needed his eyes checked after that decision.

I think Howard Webb would tell the man who raped and murdered his wife to play on. Especially if the perp was in the six-yard box.

Really, he's the Mick McGough of football referees.

It did end up being only a yellow. Only.

Howard Webb didn't want to spoil the final and keep it as a competative game. Its a pity the Dutch were a bunch of douchnozzle scumbags

Just be glad Spain won. Holland probably would have won in regulation had they converted their best chances. That would have been a hard pill to swallow to have seen some legendary past Dutch sides fall short playing attractive soccer while the 2010 Dutch team would have won through such a brutal display (after, admittedly, looking very, very good in previous games and the qualifying).

I felt bad for Howard Webb, since the Dutch seemingly played that game under the assumption the refs would be reluctant to be too harsh in a World Cup Final.

Yeah all Holland had to do was beat the best goalkeeper in the world, in you know, the one or two clear chances they got against a team and defense of world class players on arguably the biggest stage in sports....

Too bad they've always been and always will be a bunch of chokers who can't handle the pressure.

They somehow scummed their way past Brazil. Sure Brazil sort of imploded and had the worst professional player you might ever see on the field, but the Netherlands were getting away with MURDER.

Guess the Dutch were watching how Barcelona dealt with superior teams in the CL... you know, dive, cheat, do loads of scumbag fouls, and then whine and cry the second the game isn't handed to you on a silver platter. Oh and once the other team is down to 10 players and half their squad is yellow carded from your diving, have some overrated douchebag score a "nice goal" because the defense just stands there knowing a legit tackle = red card and then the casuals can go OMG SUCH A GREAT GOAL WONDERGOAL BEST TEAM EVER and circle jerk each other over it.

You fans of Chelsea, Inter Milan, Arsenal, Real Madrid, virtually 99% of the teams in Spain, etc all know what I'm talking about. Don't worry ManUre fans, you're team is so crap Barca don't even have to result to cheating to beat you and I'm sure you ManUre fans are just happy with the free ride to the finals UEFA always gives you with a group stage full of teams nobody has ever heard of, and then you get the weakest opponents straight to the finals.

As for Dunga's Brazil. It was pretty much setup solely to beat Spain and probably would have succeeded.
